  1. The touchpanel of mine is about 46cm in length, matches very closely on a 32inch monitor, you'll have trouble on larger screens.
  2. Don't bother, even directly converted from Paradise to New, the sound is overly muddy and terrible. The bass being removed was the next best thing when you see what a direct conversion gives you imo. To answer your question, you can use AcbEditor to extract the cuefiles from Paradise, and then use deretore tools with the HCA key to re-encode the wav file to New. The best way would be to get a high quality MP3 or FLAC version of the songs and edit them in Audacity to match the Chunithm version beat-for-beat. Then re-encode this version into New and you've got quality that knocks everything else out of the park. The only problem is how long it takes to do.
  3. I used the UART cable to install the CFW so I'm pretty sure you would still need it if you wanted to go ahead. The downside is that the Tasoller no longer functions for any other games so you lose that advantage just for colourful aesthetics, I just did it since I was making a cabinet just for Chunithm.
  4. I updated my Tasoller with customer firmware during the Paradise days, moving to New Plus still kept the LED functionality without needing to change anything, just needed the usual Tasoller compatible files for New Plus.
  5. I can confirm that directly importing music from Paradise to New makes it sound weird with blown out bass, estertion did the best they could to make it sound decent. If you want to put in the effort, you can use your mp3/flac music by syncing/editing them in Audacity with the in-game songs and then replacing them as 384kbps HCA using DereTools and ACBEditor.
