  1. Came here from another topic you posted a link to this from... I am trying to get another game Elevator Action Death Parade to show cursor (so the reverse of what you mention on op), I got a folder called sv in the main folder of the game, and the cursor file is in there... -Running the game with Jconfig set to enable mouse makes it so I can actually play the game, no cursor tho.... -If I disable mouse on Jconfig and run Demulshooter shortcut,it shows cursor but I can only shoot on the top left no matter where my cursor is (also wont show the crosshair from sv) Any idea what I could be doing wrong? Game Loader is not set to hide mouse

How do I enable so that a crosshair or at least mouse shows up for light gun games? Input is working but cant see where I am shooting.....(btw I enabled mouse input using jconfig)
  3. Teknoparrot has updated an Let go Jungle Special now works perfectly, but for some reason Lost in Island of spice wont open no matter if I use lgjfinal or lgj1920...
  4. Thanks, I already knew the keys, I just dont get how they actually work... sometimes pressing lever1 makes you go left, sometimes you jump... so confusing, but a bunch of these model 3 had unique cabinets, Ocean Hunter these two levers you controlled to line up the crosshairs, even tho to us it plays like a regular ligthgun (also explains why the aim is a bit off on it even when calibrated). The Lost World had an updated version with 2 screens, but dont think its possible to emulate with this emulator. Another game I cant figure out is Emergency Call Ambulance... neither controls for "break" or "handbreak" work on it, making it unplayable.
  5. Grab the latest dev release from the site, not the stable one. Games will work then, except for Dolphin Blue... that is not working for anyone. Most likely he ported a bad dump of the game.
  6. If its from a save state... it means there has to be a way to do it ourselves, must be another obscure combination....as a side note, any chance you understand the controls on a controller? I think up and down speeds it up, but how the hell you move left or rigth?
  7. There is no way to emulate that game properly, you can change the overclock values to make it more "playable" but the sound will give you a headache. Same thing with Total Vice, don't even bother.

Thanks bro, gonna try it out when I get a chance, if my theory is correct, some new update to PhysX made Death Parade incompatible.
  9. Anyone got any idea how to change Country Code for Magical Truck Adventure? Pressing the secret combo: Enter Self-test ModePress “Left Start Button” 2XPress “Service Button”Press “Left Start Button”Press “Service Button”Press “Test Button Takes me to a screen that makes it seem you could change it, but it wont move from Japan....yet I seen lots of people being able to change it. Also... anyone got any idea how controls work for it? I think original was just a crank you pulled up and down... so how you replicate that with joystick? How to move left or right? I cant figure it out....

I think you misread my post...I meant when you installed Bureau Xcom, do you remember what else it installed besides the game? Often when installing games they install more stuff ex some random netframe, directX etc etc

Any chance you remember what the game installed that made it work? If not.. it must have installed a .dll somewhere on your pc that made it so Game Loader would locate the physx drivers. Also what is EADP? I know on the Death Parade thread, the op bundled it with the game but not sure what it is.... EDIT: lol so dumb.. its acronym for game, I got confused since the dump has a second file juts called EADP, I assumed it was some other software

Hey, anyone think they could help me out? I am trying to get Elevator Action Death Parade to work for days, it keeps crashing after the logos, at the point where graphics would normally show. Since its a game that requires PhysX, I believe it has something to do with emulator not recognizing drivers properly (I am on latest one), does anyone know what setting I could change on Game Loader to help with this?
  14. Can anyone give me advice on how to properly use Jconfig? Trying to get Elevator Action Death Parade to work, there is a dump on this site with 1.3 but it just instant crash, so I downloaded the 1.8 version on this thread, writing over the old files... still same black screen crash. Is there something I am supposed to do with Jconfig besides turning on mouse and changing resolution?
  15. Mind telling us what you changed to make it work? @xtremebuga maybe I can replicate it on Flycast to finish it since im already at last stage
  16. Just gonna leave this reply here since once again there is almost no information about it. To Calibrate mouse on Demul, you need to press JVS Test button (which is different from Test button) once you see the actual game title show up, from there you can use you directional buttons (default WASD) to scrolls to menu, and Push1 button is Enter. You need to calibrate your Gun under I/O Test (or in the case of Mazan "Sword") and make sure to exit JVS Test by pressing the JVS Test button again, otherwise it wont save. BTW I didnt even need to set Maple Device 1 as Ligthgun with this steps....the emulator automatically recognizes mouse. As a side note, under coin options in the JVS Test Menu you can turn on Freeplay if you dont want to keep pressing insert coin. Hope this helps someone out there!
  17. Tried what seems to be a mame rom set from several places, I believe its bad dump because Demul wont recognize it as light gun, and it crashes when open Test Menu. Is there another dump of it besides the mame rom? EDIT: Just tried another ligth game from save devs (Ninja Assault) and it also crashes on Test Menu... which makes me beleive its either problem with Demul, or im missing a bios or something its not telling me about
  18. @Safur btw I tried using the Flycast core like you said for Dolphin Blue... and it has random crashes, including one at the final stage which makes it unplayable, its common bug: https://github.com/libretro/flycast/issues/450 Dam no matter what emu I use that game just wont work lol
  19. What core are you using? For ps1 lighgun games you need a plugin called nuvee works in several ps1 emus and also works on ps2 emu. I played all the lightgun games on ps1/ps2 using mouse with it. But just to let you know emulating Time Crisis games on ps2 take alot of messing around with video and speed hack settings.
  20. Got the Flycast core for Retroarch working and playing Dolphin Blue, Im crossing my fingers that it doesn't crash like in Demul, btw does it support mouse for light gun games? ReDream already supports that, but the problem is that you cant map any button for reload making all those games unplayable :(
  21. @xtremebuga Cant wait for it to come out! I agree that ReDream is the best DC emulator right now. I tried setting up Flycast standalone and it was a nightmare to set up, and its becoming a bit of a headache having different DC emulators for different games! ReDream is so easy to use and set up... Ill try using the FlyCast core on Retroarch tho, hopefully its not so hard to set up as standalone version....btw do save states work properly in Flycast?
  22. Really hope that is true! That would be amazing Demul runs it but crashes after beating second stage.

@F.U.W.W. Just got into this issue myself, did you ever find a fix? What is worst is that Demul has huge issue that save states wont work after you close a game... so its not like you can save near the bug :( And please dont tell me to get another dreamcast emulator, I got so many now lol its like I have one emu per game XD
  24. Yeah this .dat format was weird because Demul was set to select auto bios, but sometimes it would fail to identify the correct one, making it so the rom would not run. Had to keep trying to run the game over and over until Demul will randomly identify the right bios, or manually change the correct bios for that one game... So Im guessing the .dat format also confused Demul so it didnt know it was a ligthgun game, and that was the problem. Just played the whole game with the chd you provided and game runs flawlessly
  25. @JustinCredible81 Holy @#$%!!! Using the proper .chd and rom that you linked me, instead of the decrypted rom I was using... now lets me play the game perfectly with mouse! That was the issue all along! Thank you so much bro! Im happy AF that finally figured it out!!!
