If you have not find the root then I'd prefer you can try the mitigation intermediate approch, by creating a TCSaveData.txt into C:\ and delete the extention to make it a normal file(only you know what it originally is). And set it's level to read-only. That's if you just want to keep it from eating up the drive space in C:\. If you want the folder totally not appear, well so far I have no idea either.

Has anyone come into this issue where you beat the first heavy-tank guy and after that nothing loads out and game is soft lock here where you can shoot everywhere but you cannot switch the pedal and no damage will cause to you. I am just doubt that if it was my fault to exactly and sharply switch the pedal when it loads the next battle scene....
