It was not saved. The profile was saved, but went to the tutorial and then the song had no score.

Forgive me for late reply. Turns out I am having the "play data may not have saved properly" error message even without keep stage on. I must have done something wrong in going from 20200317 to 20200728 when it came to butterfly.sqlite file, or made some kind of change to the butterfly.sqlite database that the 0728 data doesn't like. Can't think why it's not able to update everything.

I am running 2020 data with the latest version of butterfly. Has anyone discovered a reliable way to save scores when you are using the hexedit that keeps the game on first stage forever? It used to save the scores themselves where the top world score would display even if it didn't save on the profile. But now nothing saves I can play 30 songs and they're all gone. When I exit the game I choose a nonstop course because I'm using gold cab mode which then fails me out of the game. When it is trying to save the emus data it does say your data may not have been saved. Does anyone have a suggestion for how to run this hexedit and exit the game in a way that saves the scores?

They have said they will be no more butterfly updates for a while, and the latest version doesn't support any 2021 data. You would have to get the source code and make whatever dll changes are necessary yourself and recompile. If you're going to run DDR Arcade data best to just use 2020 data instead of stuff that has just been released in the actual arcades a month ago.

I want to confirm, when you say this, do you mean just use the 728 data in general, or to copy and paste the modules from 0728 folder to the 0804 folder? I tried the 2nd and it crashes after verifiying eamuse card, access violation but nothing is read only.

When you say modules do you mean the hex edits? I can't use spice tools with that data for the patches, it's looking for the old 0203 data, data mismatch error

There is something seriously wrong with the logins on this forum. I sent a private message last week and turned out I was logged into NW360 account. No idea who that is. Last night while I was asleep these posts show up on my account, I did not post them! Maybe that's NW360 for some reason logged in as me! Seriously, I was logged in as NW360 before sending messages and now someone is logged in as me, sheikster. If you are the one posting in these screenshots as sheikster please log out and log back into emuline

soo the next step is update from 20200317 to the AIO V2? just copy,paste and replace?

Each version of the software has a different location of the file to edit for the hex edits. The FAQ mentions only one specific version of data. The spreadsheet of hex edits has all the different offsets.

I'm trying to run the latest update, 0317. The game runs fine, but patches do not work, they cannot be selected. The spicetools version I have, 04-30, is up to data from 02-03. Spice Companion says memory mismatch. Are there any newer versions of the software or something I need to change to get these to work? Or just wait or hex edit?
