So I decrypted the acb and awb files using the HCA key in this thread, and I confirmed that the resulting decrypted files can be converted to wav files with no issues on my computer. However, in game (on Paradise) it still sounds like a garbled mess. Any ideas?

Gotcha. Guess I'll wait for the exe to get cracked and the HCA key dumped then. Sounds like it won't be too difficult once that's done?

So it's possible to encrypt/convert audio into the old format? I'd be interested in figuring out how to do that. I'm mostly interested in figuring out how to play the new songs on the old software as I have a cabinet and I wouldn't be able to upgrade the PC or the monitor in it to the new spec very easily.

Interestingly, the charts work on the paradise installation, but the songs must be in a new format and are completely garbled. I wonder if there's a way to convert the new format to the old format so we can play the songs on paradise?
