  1. stop the torture, this afternoon, i dreamed again, with LAN on F-ZERO AX... even with gamepad... sweet :3 dream.
  2. for Avalon i directly understood when i saw "client & server" side file. if we want to experience this one day, we'll need to create a fake server side, so... do not dream to much, but do not stop to dream i am not tricking like this for Dolphin, i create a generic profile (exact same buton to not confuse me, A=A, B=B...) called "DEFAULT" then i use this "DEFAULT" ingame to note what function buton have, then i go in controller setup, player 4 (config standard controller), i create a new controller profile i bind the correct butons at my preference, then save as "GAMENAME". to finish i go in the Editor, then i change my "DEFAULT" to the correctly & freshly created "GAMENAME" profile. like this i don't need to touch the AM stuff in the setup. just another way but i could resive my decision, cause actually, 16/9 & 4/3 is a mess & doing folders is the solution.
  3. is there a place to grab the corresponding control butons for easy & quick rebind ? or we must do by your side, coz it's a mess & a pain to setup all these. because i play FZ with buton accel not L R trigs. just to show here is a quick notice for F-ZERO AX bindings : ( Buton in the emulator = its function in game || just push your selected buton on controller on the chosen function ) R.TRIG = GAS A = PADDLE LEFT L.TRIG = BRAKE B = PADDLE RIGHT Y = BOOST X = CREDITS Z = TEST START = START PAD.RIGHT = VIEW CHANGE 1 PAD.LEFT = VIEW CHANGE 2 PAD.UP = VIEW CHANGE 3 PAD.DOWN = VIEW CHANGE 4 L.STICK.LEFT = STEERING LEFT L.STICK.RIGHT = STEERING RIGHT example : i want to accelerate with my Yellow buton, R.TRIG = GAS, i go to RT in controls, at RT i push my Yellow buton. //EDIT: does the wheel is working on F-Zero (FFB) ? i guess no as we are using "Disable Motor Setup" ? really whish to experience this one day :3 //EDIT.DIT: i tested, & yeah no surprise, no FFB at all <j¦^( PS : hippopippo & mamefan2018 THANKS
  4. if i knew, i just came here. but not for nothing. the lines (64 to 77) that are blocking the launch in \system\hardware_settings_restrictions.xml are : here the edited version for 4K (copy paste this)

FOR PEOPLE HAVING HEADACHE with FULLSCREEN NOT WORKING. we are going to Abandon TecknoParrot for the moment, cooozzz we are going to use a pre-patched JConfig to bring back the glorious FullScreen to its paroxysm, almost, almost. 1. use/DL a clean version SRG. 2. in topic below, go to >Jconfig, open hidden content, browse to >Others: then DL => StormRacerG_2022_03_04.rar 3. paste the content of JConfig SRG files in the game directory, use the README.txt to set it up properly. 4. after setup, launch "racing.exe" & enjoy this great game once again ! 5. *HI-RES* WORK IN PROGRESS > i'm working on adding a DGVoodoo again, but for JConfig this times, maybe an update in a few hours. //EDIT: there is minor light map problem (but it's annoying), otherwise working as entended use my old DGVoodoo - JConfig: reso: 1366x768 | uncheck "DX Window Mode" | Settings: MSAA OFF - DGVoodoo: General > Output API > Direct3D 11 (feat. lvl 10.0) | DirectX > Antialiasing (MSAA) > 4x i'm a bit sad because he worked perfectly before on TP. like before, now i must enjoy this again, see ye soon amigos de l'arcade \o/, je vous aime. //EDIT: Hey kritbualad maybe adding this little JConfig patch in the 1st post could be a wise act.

  7. it's unusual, but i was so frustrated by the game that is not working, even Jconfig & AllRH, no luck for me atm. so, then, hey hey, i worked to extract the musics & do a Lovely Soundtrack for us all around.   8. if it's in a document file, you still can try to edit, save & right-click > read only if you lock the file, the game won't be able to edit it.
  9. i did a 720p video preview, for any HyperSpin or AttractMode things you know, basic 35 seconds preview video (30sec gameplay+5sec title screen) Storm Racer G (WAHLAP PC Based) 2013 (StormRacerG).m4v ...right-click on video > save video as...
  10. i don't have more to say, it's more "try & see", but i'm sure of one thing : the resolution is the solution! try all resolutions (don't forget to "Apply" at each change) if none work... forgot dgvoodoo, it won't help you. maybe that it's a Direct X or Visual C++ Redistributable Runtime problem ? but i m sure of nothing, it's more an idea. otherwise, here you can see the result of the HD patch (not my video)

  12. ca marche impec merci, j'ai tout réencodé en 2K en moins d'une heure, j'ai gardé le bitrate et son d'origine mais j'ai upscale en 2560x1440+lancoz queques infos pour ceux qui voudraient s'y essayer. original Movies Info : WMV9 compatible WMV8, bitrate 30000, WMA sound 320. pour tester, le plus simple c'est de reencoder la video d'intro (w5_d00.wmv) afin de verifier si l'encode a fonctionné, /!\ sur 11 movies, 7 n'ont pas de son [les fichiers w5_ et l'ending]
  13. no there is not, dl this dgVoodoo version 2.74.1 and setup direct x panel as it is in the screenshot, it's working for my native 2K screen, i can't say more, dgVoodoo alone is doing the job for me. EDIT// i added more argumentation to my last post
  14. i can't confirm for 1080p, but it is working on 2K (1440p) beta dgVoodoo SRG Fullscreen 4K Upscale (tested on a 2K screen OK).7z 1.83 Mo Extract to your Storm Racer G \bin folder. above, i explain my solution & my encountered problems (to help as much as possible). EDIT 2 : after a few more test Phong isn't indispensable. EDITED : it's upscaling the game with internal resolution 1360x768 x3 (4080x2304), i have a 2K screen (2560x1440), need good hardware, it's working well actually, full screen good ratio on my win10 i7 gtx1070 / dgVoodoo version 2.74.1 i encountered my first problem trying to upscale to my native reso (2K) because i had vertex/shaders problem. -- first i had a problem similar to RoadFighters 3D, there is a filter effect that do not stretch correctly, resulting with a weird rectangular effect sized in 1360x768 in the upper left corner of my 2k screen. in dgVoodoo/DirectX, i could say that i got bad result with resolution NxN, so, i used the multiple 2 (x2) + ̶P̶h̶o̶n̶g̶ ̶S̶h̶a̶d̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶o̶p̶t̶i̶o̶n̶ ̶(̶h̶e̶l̶p̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶t̶o̶ ̶s̶t̶r̶e̶t̶c̶h̶ ̶c̶o̶r̶r̶e̶c̶t̶l̶y̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶g̶a̶m̶e̶)̶ -- then i got a LightMap problem using multiple 2 (x2), the game is starting normally until that you choose a car, then i realized that it generated a LightMap problem, white-ishing the car in the selection mode & when your start the race, my screen was almost completely whitewashed, i barely seen the silouhette of the map on the side, unplayable. finally i reach it with the multiple 3 (x3) + ̶P̶h̶o̶n̶g̶ ̶S̶h̶a̶d̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶o̶p̶t̶i̶o̶n̶.̶ 1360x768 x3 (4080x2304 upscale on a 2K screen) very nice results, good CPU required. please try & report (also test firstly with the multiple [x2,x3,x4] if don't work) i can't say for other reso, you'll have to test all resolutions in dgVoodoo/DirectX. good-luck, bonne chance les amis de l'arcade ! ha, et comment on fait des screenshots sur ce jeu ???? ca fait une heure que j'essaie, mais là, j'ai abandonné :/ si vous voulez que je fasse mon commentaire en Francais, dites le moi les gars merci, a plus les copains.
  15. 6/6/2020 UPDATE : add Bezel without instruction card File >> Fix Ratio HD 16∶9 1080p+ Reshade new Bezel [DBAC EX] < MEGA / 7zip / 10 Mo > Bezel view : Marquee style only // added into the updated 7zip File 3/6/2020 salut, j'ai maj le pack ReShade+ Bezel, correction du ratio pour du 16/9 1080p (je pense que cela pourrait marcher pour d'autres resolutions 16/9, a tester.) hi, i updated the pack "ReShade+ Bezel", now it's correct game ratio for 1080p 16:9 (i guess that it should work on more 16:9 resolutions, free to test & report.) Bezel view : Marquee + Instruction Card style thanks for all the great works guys !!!
