  1. Yes Lizard King made 16:9 conversions, but not without the sacrfices it comes with, by cropping off video information at the top and bottom, it is just not possible without. And just making different bat files just won't do it, if you don't want it stretched, you would have to make a new encode. Well and you can't really expect from Karis to make several different encodes just to make everyone happy. The majority here prefers the games in its original form and are grateful for that. If you are not happy with it, you might wanna start encoding yourself.
  2. If you convert 4:3 to 16:9 you always loose information at the top and the bottom, as Karis stated, this is a fact: If you play those old 4:3 games in 16:9 via retroarch or mame it will be stretched and looses the OAR. Same with old tv series, they are meant to be in 4:3, every alteration makes you either loose information or you have a distorted picture and this goes for all 4:3 Laser Disc Games too. And for gun games it is an absolute no go, you might cut off a target at the top of the screen when converting to 16:9. We are in the future cause we can play them in HD at home, but the OAR has to be preserved.
  3. Great, love to shoot me some zombies, thx.
  4. Well, i pretend it is a Zombie game then
  5. Nice, curious how it looks, now all i need is my Sinden. Thanx guys
  6. Sorry i couldn't help, but it seems to be a problem, that doesn't occur for everyone, so it must be some hardware or system spedific problem. But as long you can play the game, it is not a biggie and maybe there'll be a solution or fix some day.
  7. Latest version of the official one, so nothing special.
  8. Ah, they still remain blackened although they are unlocked, weird, never had that problem. Well, as long you can fully play the game, it is just a minor problem, i would say, maybe a future ryujinx update will fix it at some point.
  9. When you've opened the Nvidia Control Panel, go to manage 3D settings. Then you have a window on the right side with two tabs above it, Global Settings and Program Settings. Click the Progtam Settimgs tab, then where it says Selct a program to customize, click on the tab below, in that fold out window, you'll see a list of all your programs exe. Now look in that list for the Ryujinx exe, if it is not in the list, you'll have to add it manually. Then go to add and specify where the exe is located. Select Ruyjunx exe now, then you'll see all the settings for it in the window below. Scroll down to OpenGL rendering GPU, select your GFX Card and save it, that's it. Dunno if that will fix your problem, though. And one thing i wanted to ask. You are playing the game in original resolution or with a higher resolution? Sometimes changing the original resolution of a game can cause such things. Happened to me with MK DX in teknoparrot, using a higher resolution made some pics invisible in the game.
  10. See that your mouse cursor is over the desktop, click the right button and choose nvidia control panel in the pop up menu.
  11. LOL Thanx for clearing that up. But i don't have that problem either, i can see them, so i don't know what the problem could be.
  12. The files provided here are upscaled to 4k, with the original 4:3 aspect ratio, so they are 2880x2160 The arguments provided by xx0ToT0xx are forcing it to 16:9 by stretching it, to fill the screen left and right. This is just if you don't like having black bars left and right and don't care about the original aspect ratio and having a slightly warped video then.
  13. Thanx for the JConfig game is running fine. But seriously, only 3 courses and boarder, this is more or less a joke.
  14. Like the error is saying, you are missing the ewfapi.dll which needs to be in the game folder where the sdaemon.exe is. ewfapi.dll
  15. I was just trying to help Rex2573, since his cars are invisible, for me it is working fine. I've changed the settings in NVIDIA Control Panel just for performance reasons.
  16. I would also recommend xpadder, i'm using it for several years now, lots of configuration options, easy to handle and works perfectly.
  17. I was basically just repeating this answer, And now, i saw it was also you asking this question before, silly me Although i don't have this option either in my RYUJINX, but there are beta versions or so that have this option. So i thought you might have this option, but obviously not. I never had the problem with invisible cars. Dunno, if it is because, i've specified, in the NVIDIA Control Panel 3D Settings for the RYUJINX .exe, my GTX 1070 TI as OpenGL Rendering GPU. But this is just a wild guess, i'm no expert in such things, the graphic settings in RYUJINX are basically default (enable shader cache on) , not much options anyways and the only things i really changed were in the NVIDIA Control Panel. So if that doesn't do any good, then you might wanna try your luck with google.
  18. I think you have to use opengl instead of vulcan in the graphic settings in RYUJINX
  19. Thanx again xx0ToT0xx, for posting
  20. Thanx again, for putting this up and your help!
  21. Thanx xx0ToT0xx for posting this and all your help so far! Enjoy everybody
  22. Ok, so i think i'll give it a try with the files i already have. Since i have a 4k screen, i would go for 2880x2160 and see how long it will take on my machine to encode. Guess, i'll start with SDQ, this was always one of my favourites, since i'm an old f**k, i've played it in the arcades back in the day and preferred it over DL or SA, cause it was easier and not quite that coin muncher. I'll keep that in mind, if i'm succesful with my first task, in making a good useful encode. Dunno, how long that will take though, since i have to start from the very beginning with this.
  23. Ah ok, i have those, from the Daphne 4K iso by Lizard King. But i'm not sure if they've been already encoded and if i should use these files. Or is it better to use the original unaltered video files?
  24. Nice specs I'm guessing, artemis HQ and CG instead of progressive and 2880x2160 instead of the default 3840x2160, those are settings in Topaz? So i can use the m2v files of the game with Topas and encode it with those settings? How long did it take on your system in general? I see, so i'm guessing it is a little bit of trial and error in the beginning. So the best thing would be, to take the smallest video file available and do some experimenting. Which games would be needed to be done? Thanx for all the input so far, guys.
