Is there a special bat file needed? I've used this command line, but hypseus won't load it. hypseus.exe singe vldp -framefile arcadex1\arcadex1.txt -script arcadex1\arcadex1.singe -sound_buffer 2048 -fullscreen EDIT It is working now, had to put it in the singe folder and use this command: hypseus.exe singe vldp -framefile singe\arcadex1\arcadex1.txt -script singe\arcadex1\arcadex1.singe -sound_buffer 2048 -fullscreen

Thanx for your efforts, works fine, no need for xpadder anymore. And for everybody looking for a frontend, check out Launchbox. It is very easy to configure and you can launch all games from it, nice and convenient. Here is an example for Hypseus and Sinden Gun playlist.

Really?! Just the starter missions are resetting, never tried the other stages, cause i thought it wouldn't save at all. LOL Das hättest ja auch mal früher sagen können.

Sorry my bad, i had the impression you meant 0.3, on 3.0 it jitters like crazy, 1.9 seems to be the best for me. But all is good now, the patch is working great, thanx for the link.

For some reason i needed a thicker border as usual. I've installed reshade, adjusted the border and that fixed the weird crosshair behaviour. So it doesn't drift off anymore and stays more or less on target, still not 100% accurate at all times though. As mentioned above reshade with a thicker border made it a bit better. Really, Sensitivity on 3, with the Sinden Gun?? If i set it to 3 the crosshair barely moves, 19 is the best for me, that is weird.

Well, the Gun works perfectly with all other games, so settings should be ok. But since it works for you, it must be something on my end. So thanx for the info, will see if i can sort it out.

Is it really supposed to work "flawless" with a lightgun? I have a Sinden and targeting is not very good. You can't calibrate and the crosshair seems to drift off a bit occasionally. I've set the sensitivity to 19 which made it a bit better, but is still not perfect. So for a PC game it is dissapointing that it has no proper lightgun support. Anyone else noticed the same problem regarding aiming with the Sinden Gun or is it just me?

Here is a basic tutorial for setting up Hypseus, you can use this as reference for all other games. I would recommend to download hypseus and all other necessary files from the first page of this thread, since this tuto is some months old and hypseus has been updated several times since then. Give it a try and see if you can get it working, if you have any problems, feel free to ask.

Sorry, i don't have preconfigured xpadder files for HOTD SD, i'm playing it with a lightgun. But dude really, don't put yourself down, it is very easy to configure, if you are able to configure jconfig, you can configure xpadder too.

Think i've mentioned it before, but i would suggest using xpadder https://xpadder.com/?lang=english&country=US You can map keyboard + mouse functions/movements to your xbox pad. So configure jconfig for mouse + keyboard or keyboard only and map those keys/functions with xpadder to your pad and save the profile, it's really easy. You need to start xpadder each time before you start the game, or make a little bat to automate that process and you should be able to play with a pad. If you don't want to use a mouse, using an external program like xpadder might be the only choice as long you can't try it with tp or an updated jconfig.

You can change the position of the window in jconfig, just edit window x position until it is centered.

Did a quick test with DLTV, everything is working fine so far. Really glad you can save your progress, otherwise you would probably never finish it.

Cool, thanx. I'm a bit confused, this is a DL2e.zip. In the encode text it says also DL2e.mp4 etc and there are also overlays and so forth. Is this supposed to be? In the archive the mp4 is called dlair.mp4. Do i have to rename it to DL2e or is there a mix up?

Guess that makes it easier to encode, although they can't be changed if they look crappy. Which version is the best to download?
