Hi everyone, I've been fighting with my bistrover for the past few days trying to get it to work with asphyxia. After not playing for many months, I tried booting the game and was unable to get past the initializing game screen. I found my solution and wanted to share it here for those interested. This solution probably applies to any iidx version. The game would crash only when I was running asphyxia. If asphyxia was not running, the game would boot fine under any circumstances. But when booting with asphyxia running, a network error would display, then after continuing the game would crash right before the monitor check. What was causing this was that the entire directory holding the game contents was set to read only. So if you are having this issue, right click the folder that holds the game files, and ensure that "Read-only (Only applies to files in folder)" is not checked.
