  1. Brother. That is not the problem. The problem is you are presenting to the public that those videos are not available in 20200203 data. Pare tatagalugin ko na (I will speak in our native language). Pare yung wordings kasi eh, pinapalabas mo na yung 3 videos na yun ay wala sa 20200203 na data dump na version ng game. Eh andun nga. In fact, dun galing ang tatlong videos na yan. Pero wino-word mo na as if wala dun. Simple lang naman.
  2. Brother you need to do some backreading so you know what is from where. Or at least, ask around, before you publicize anything. "Think before you click" is the general rule in general Netiquette, right? Also, how would you feel if your name was dragged into stuff like "oh he's leaking gdata?" Come on brother, these are common "courtesy" stuff that don't need genius-level thinking. We're both Filipinos, we're generally courteous. I know you know this.
(Translation: brother please fix your tweet. You're making it appear that the three videos are not in the "clean" version of the 20200203 data. That's how it's coming across with the way you worded it. Also brother you are implicating us as leaking the data. We're being put in a bad light because of what you're posting, I hope you're seeing that it's irresponsible to post things like that.)
  4. Okay. Thank you for your understanding.
  5. Tsk tsk tsk. That mindset is what causes rumors. Now I see what @tw3nz0r meant. To you it may not be important but to us here, it is. Especially because you cited my name (along with @kanor and @tw3nz0r). The least you can do is at least correct your tweet. Please be responsible next time.
  6. The statement was inaccurate and misleading because they are not missing; how can we just say "forget it?" I think that's irresponsible to say the least. There is no 20200901 even as @tw3nz0r himself is already saying that there's none but you kept on insisting that there is.
  7. Again: there's no problem uploading for those who need them; my concern is that your tweet was worded in a way that makes it seem that the 20200203 data dump does not have those videos when in fact they are there. Basically: your tweet says... Those movies are NOT MISSING in the 20200203 data dump (assuming "clean" data dump).
  8. That's a very old comment. That comment was during the time when the "clean" 20200203 data was not yet available so people were just getting videos from elsewhere. Like I said in my previous comment, if you are using the "clean" 20200203 data then the 3 videos you talk about are included and have proper synchronization because it is CLEAN data, not "chop-chop" files acquired from various places. Make things easy for you: simply download the clean 20200203 data and you're done. Now, if you are doing "chop-chop" by getting only the videos from the "clean" 20200203 data, and then plugging those videos to your 20190903 or fan-made 20200203, then that's a different story. My real concern is the way you worded your tweet because it's giving the wrong impression that the 3 videos are missing from 20200203 when in fact they are not. You have to be very clear with your wording.
  9. I'm sorry, I didn't understand what you said...
  10. Guys, those videos are NOT missing in 20200203 data. If you are downloading the clean 20200203 data then those videos are already included. If you are not using the clean 20200203 then the videos are not there. But please avoid positioning it as if those videos are missing from 20200203. The videos are there. See the contents of the torrent. THE VIDEOS ARE INCLUDED; NOT MISSING.
  11. Hello, The file: gamemdx.dll ...is the very "game" in itself, so yes there is no "executable" or .exe file. The way to run this game is to download a sort of "launcher" for gamemdx.dll (the technical term is a "hook"). But anyway this is no time for being technical. I actually uploaded a downloadable video walkthrough on how to go about it. https://mega.nz/file/9AtR1LzS#BxordjyImHOUvIpQEvfW0uqBeIXMBHcafnlucSBc4ug I also made some "3rd-party" (my own projects) wizard/setup tools that will also launch the game but I haven't had the time to update it yet (you'll get to know them when you do some back-reading in this thread). For now, the above-mentioned video is the traditional way of going about it.
  12. I announced this in the Discord Group but forgot to do so here.... I have mapped the "hex edits" across the various data dumps (including the latest "clean" 2020-02-03) and laid them out in a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet. You can download it here.
  13. Hello @MrBoo I mapped out and put in a spreadsheet the hex edits across the various data dumps; it's already a Pinned Message in the Discord Chat Group (go to the #help channel of the group): However, i haven't gone into mapping the "lights" part. Just now I tried but it looks like it's not the same offset per data dump version. So what I did was, per data dump version of the gamemdx.dll, I tried to search for the hex pattern that comes before each of the hex edits (observable patterns) and this is what I came up with. I don't have a cab to test, but I'm attaching the screenshots of the hex editor so that you can see how I tried to determine them. The Excel file compilation of hex edits: Updated link, sorry The photo gallery in case it's still too small to be viewed: https://postimg.cc/gallery/hVsby1n
  14. I realized, with all the developments happening quickly (new butterfly source code, new data dump, etc.) I forgot to properly announce my updated UNOFFICIAL build of butterfly. So yes, I have updated my forked butterfly and is now in version 1.3.0! https://github.com/topet2k12001/butterfly What's new? Most notable change (feature) in the official source code (which I also updated into my fork and built as version 1.3.0 UNOFFICIAL) is that the Golden League Event is now fully playable! And as we know, a fully playable Golden League Event therefore also means that we can now experience the 9th Dan, 10th Dan, and Kaiden courses! NOTE: the Golden League Event is exclusive only to the Gold Cabinet (this is how it is officially) so you'll have to switch to "Gold Cab Mode" to experience it. There are also "fixes" that aren't visible to you as the end-user, but are actually very important to ensure the smooth functionality of the game!
  15. Make sure to import the SQL files because these SQL files hold the "event information" like the Dan Courses. If you don't import them then there will be no events. Also, Dan Courses are exclusive to "Gold Cab Mode" only. Full instructions are in the wiki section of my GitHub. https://github.com/topet2k12001/butterfly/wiki
  16. Make sure you have Java installed, minimum Java 8 for my 1.3.0 UNOFFICIAL build.
  17. @B4SH-T Here's a video that I took, start-to-finish. The game runs properly, so I think either you're missing a step or need to download again. https://mega.nz/file/9AtR1LzS#BxordjyImHOUvIpQEvfW0uqBeIXMBHcafnlucSBc4ug
  18. Okay great at least you got it all sorted out now. I retried all the steps I wrote on a fresh re-download of the "clean" 20200203 and I got it working without issues; I don't know why it's not working for some others. Either they are adding stuff (and not telling) which is causing the EXCEPTION ACCESS VIOLATION, or something else about their setup.
  19. Hm...a simple DLL registration should have done the trick there (I feel codec packs are too much for this requirement). Are you sure you ran your CMD as Administrator? Glad to hear you got it working though.
  20. Hm, that's strange. Yes I do remember that there are no Gold BG videos in the pristine 20200203; I also had to copy them from 20190903. But I haven't ran into the problem you have described so far. Anyway I'll record a start-to-finish video for the setup steps I did. This process is interim until I update DDR P.U.S.S.(I.E.). PS: you're using the video that has the file extension of .m2v and not .wmv, correct?
  21. Ah, the Update Pack. Yes, it's there. But not in P.U.S.S.(I.E.). Clear now. Also remember...when you're restarting "fresh" and creating new profiles all over again, remember that that's the "first run" so don't continue the game to the Music/Song Selection as there will really be no events yet. Exit the game first and then import the "events" (SQL files), and then run the game the next time around. So the order should be: Clean database (or delete; butterfly will generate a new blank one) Start the game (first-run). You'll register a new profile Exit the game at the "Select Game Mode" part Import the "events" (SQL files) Restart the game I'm going to make a video of setting up the "clean" 20200203 and will share to everyone. I don't know how to record the game itself when it actually starts, though. Worst-case I'll just run the game windowed.
  22. Uh-oh, saying "DDR A" there raises a "red flag" for me. When you mentioned your issue earlier were you on DDR A or A20?
  23. Hello, DDR P.U.S.S.(I.E.) does not contain nor generate the Gold background. Have you imported the "Global Events" SQL script file into butterfly? See the wiki from my GitHub for details.
