There's a lot more to it than just adding the song files. You have to unpack the arc files to access the musicDB, add the song info manually, enter the correct ID, then pack the arc file again. If you mess up even one thing, the game will break. It's not worth the trouble. Again, use Stepmania. Please read though the outdated A20 thread for additional hints and download links for the tools you need. We're not here to spoon-feed you answers.

We do not provide support for adding songs from older games before DDR A. The few people that know how to do that can provide support as they wish, but that's up to them, and it's very unlikely that they are willing to help you. Use Stepmania.

Unfortunately due to the complications of adding ddr songs beyond the original songlist at the release of DDR A, there is no widespread support for that. A select few have figured out how to do what you're asking, but it's up to them whether they want to share or not

Anyone know how to use arcutil to repack folders into arc files? So far I know that you can unpack arc files by putting in the command line (thanks piotr25691) > ./arcutil.exe x "filename.arc" Is it a similar command for repacking?

The upgrade files do NOT include the challenge charts for tiger rampage and kusare, despite the musicdb making them selectable. Everything else is there though

That would be awesome; thank you for that. Where did you get the blue a20 dump from though? Is it actually 2020 data?

Did you modify the sqlite data? Make sure the card data is syntactically accurate or if you have a text file for the card ID, ensure it is in the correct format. I am also curious about more up-to-date base a20 data as seen in these a20 special edition videos

The thread mentions editing musicdb to get some of the hidden songs to show up, but where is it and how should it be edited? Go to https://mon.im/bemanipatcher/ddra.html and enable "Force Cabinet Type 6"

I have a20 set up with bemanitools and the butterfly server, but I can't scan in after around 3 games and I have to restart the actual game to scan again. I also removed the announcer but can't find the source file of the crowd noises and I would like to remove those as well
