A certain big brother music game company issued a big piracy warning today. This is why we shut down public releases of butterfly for the time being. Friends, these leaks and videos are not helping the situation and can damage future updates. If a post with this content is made, you will receive a warning to edit and remove the content of your post. If you fail to do so, this thread will be permanently shut down and no future butterfly releases will ever happen again. We need to stick together and follow these rules for the time being. That server was supposed to be semi-private until Mr. Raki spread the url with his n-0 leak, so he probably shut it down (I know who runs that server). Butterfly will be released publicly again so long as stupid leaks don't happen again by stupid people.

I'll let topet have the final word here, but announcement: butterfly is no longer being publicly supported due to the recklessness of "f**k ddr" giving out n+1 data and advertising it to everyone on sows (pinging everyone there), pretty much all over 1cc, and on emuline. This is extremely reckless behavior and can raise BIG red flags if konami sees it because the bemani pro league and ichika 2021 songs were leaked prematurely, and people were posting scores of them publicly on Facebook before they were even announced or released. We cannot continue to support butterfly because of this and to avoid any potential legal issues that can come with public server support for n+1 data and events. A final release will occur soon to support ONLY 2020 date-codes and 2020 modules. That will be up to topet to drop. 2021 updates will throw a busy error upon pin entry. Butterfly releases may be made public again in the future if this shit stops. Until then, please enjoy the hard work topet (and myself + others) has put into butterfly and thank him for his efforts. And don't be stupid, don't post new data if you have it for OBVIOUS reasons, or Chris Hansen will show up at your house and ask you to have a seat right over there.

Half of the a20 songs in that data were region locked, the other half are simply locked and labeled as "limited" in the music database. Go into musicdb.xml and remove the "limited" tags from each one of the songs to fix that.

How are you able to add everything without the game crashing? I'm assuming you have a workaround for the game not having enough memory I guess, eager to hear of any progress
