Hi. Just a question. I've converted GDI to CHD and every rom goes like shit off a stick. CHD is a compression format and works really well. Why do we use GDI or CDI when CHD is tiny in comparison and is quicker?

Thanks. I can't get Demul setup properly because of all the plugins. Added that it is so fiddly to configure controls to use a mouse as a lightgun and run it full screen. I gave up in the end. I got Flycast (standalone not Retroarch) working perfect on my Windows 10 machine but on my Windows 7 machine it refuses to run the exe. Both are 64 bit so no idea why it won't work. If you could point me in the direction of a preconfigured version of Demul? I can see that's the only way I'm going to be able to get it to work.

Just set this up on my 10 year old pc. Loaded up confidential mission and it was shit. Switched to full screen 16:9, set my dolphin bar up and this baby is cooking on gas. All credit to the devs. This is an amazing emulator. I can't believe it can run on such basic hardware. Shame that not many lightgun games were made for the Dreamcast. If it had Naomi support as well I'd be ecstatic.

I've sorted it. Created a link to the game in the same folder. Start hog.lnk Start JoyToKey [-r] [hog] Just incase anyone does the same thing. Just need something that kills the task after exiting the game but I can put up with closing Joy2key manually.

Hi. Got this working using joy2key. Does anyone know how to create a bat file that starts the joy2key profile and then the game? My first line is JoyToKey [-r] [profile] IfIf I then put the shortcut to the exe on the second line it doesn't work. Jusr

Hi. Still need some help with this. So what I did was change the resolution to 1360 x 768 which I believe is the games native resolution? Ran Teknoparrot in full screen and it worked. However it's a bit useless having to change the res everyone I want to play this particular game. Can anyone provide me with simple step by step instructions on how to create a custom resolution in Game Loader? I mean idiot guide. I'm not an idiot but the loader looks kind of scary!

So can you change in the screen res in Teknoparrot by editing the app.ini file? I'll give that a go. I think it's only going to work in full screen window. Any info on what to change within the ini would be helpful.

Is the app.ini file in Teknoparrot? I'm just using Teknoparrot at the moment. Never used Gameloader so I'm not really sure how it all works.

Hi. Can't get LGJ Island of Spice to work property in full screen. 1920 is too big as you can't see everything on screen and LGJ final in full screen opens but the controls don't work. If you run LGJ final in windowed mode controls work but the window isn't big enough. Has anyone got an a fix they can upload?

Hi, Can anyone recommend any decent Snowmobile games? My system is pretty old so they kind of have to be low resource but decent. I think only 1 arcade game is supported my Teknoparrot and that has issues. I downloaded Snow Moto Racing Freedom from steam but it won't run on my PC. Any help would be appreciated.

Joypad. Your going to say it doesn't work with joypad aren't you? What are the differences between the 2 game exe's in the directory? I've tried with both and the original works but can't get past the calibration screens after calibrating peddles and left and right. The left and right it states calibration failed and the gas and brake it says are calibrated. If this doesn't work with a pad I might have to invest in a wheel.

Hi, I'm struggling with this one. It looks overly complicated for something that I thought I could create a batch script for. I've looked at all the commercial software and nothing comes close. Like I say I thought that a script could be created that opens the emulator, passes the ROM and switches to a custom cursor. When the emulator exits the script would switch the cursor back to default. What at first seemed achievable is now rather complicated. Thanks anyway.

Hi. Could you replicate it with flycast? I'd really appreciate it. I've found a cursor changing program which works but I kind of want one that opens on running specific games and changes back to the default cursor on exit. I'm pretty impressed with Flycast. Redream still doesn't offer what Flycast does. It's pretty easy to set up. No complicated or hard to find plugins either.

Hi. I'm really interested in running light gun games on dreamcast, atomiswave and Naomi. Confidential mission works perfectly on Flycast. Death Crimson 1 & 2 work well but you really need a crosshair/sight as the mouse pointer isn't ideal. Maze of Kings for Naomi works like a charm but again only with a mouse pointer. Does anyone know how to find a way to show a crosshair or implement one? I guess I should be asking the devs but just thought i'd ask anyway.

Hi. I've got most mame games working with the Dolphin Bar but PS1 and PS2 are proving really tricky. I've tried multiple emulators for ps1 (which are pretty difficult to set up with all the various plugins) but can't get the nuvee plugin to work. Would anyone care to upload their setup (excluding roms) so that I can get it working? I'd really appreciate the gesture.
