  1. I have IIDX 28 Bistrover working perfectly w/ saving via asphyxia core. Running on an old Intel based PC w/ a decent video card, GTX 1070. For folks having issues, I've rar'd up my entire "contents" directory excluding the "data" directory and shared it at the link below. Just download/unrar it somewhere on the same drive as your current IIDX 28 location & do a move of your "data" directory into the new directory containing the folders/files I've provided. You might need to delete everything in " .../dev/nvram " if it still doesn't work. Hope that helps some folks having issues here. https://1drv.ms/u/s!AmteDcWaA0g7dbL028G87xfOkcI?e=x4OImq

  3. I was wondering if anyone had a rip of this as well. I noticed that the bemanipatcher site actually has an entry for this so figured the rip must be floating around.
  4. Cool stuff - looking forward to hopefully playing this. Do you know if any progress has been made in figuring out a way to save scores/progress yet for the T2 rip or being planned for T3 rip - something like asphyxia or asphyxia-core I guess is what I'm asking for.
  5. Anyone know if there is a way to change language to English on this rip for Pop'n Music 26 Kaimei Riddles? I can change between Japanese and Korean by switching between "J" and "K" on the entry in ea3-config.xml (see below) - I tried "A" and "Y" but the game just stays in Japanese for those. <soft> <model __type="str">M39</model> <dest __type="str">J</dest> <spec __type="str">A</spec> <rev __type="str">A</rev> <ext __type="str">2021042600</ext> </soft>
  6. For 120Hz Lightning mode , do you leave "Force 120Hz timing ..." unchecked in the patcher? Is simply launching the game on a 120Hz capable display all that's required for the game to detect & play at 120Hz? Also, I was wondering if you knew what the option "Shim Lightning Mode IO ..." does. Thanks.
  7. I'm playing on an old Intel quad-core desktop (built it over 10 years ago) & a GTX 1070. No issues playing the game or saving scores/progress via Asphyxia core w/ plugin.
  8. Questions regarding options for Faucetwo SDVX controller from Gamo2 I'm thinking about ordering the Faucetwo from Gamo2 & looking for recommendations for a couple of questions I have regarding options. I've already looked at these 2 reviews/videos: https://www.reddit.com/r/otoge/comments/ny730m/gamo2_faucetwo_sound_voltex_controller_review/ https://www.otaquest.com/controller-close-up-gamo2-faucetwo-for-sound-voltex/ I'm planning on going with the default DJDao buttons as the reviews seem to indicate they are just fine. Looking for recommendations for these remaining options: Springs - 60g or 100g ? .... (I saw on another post that lighter springs is recommended) Microswitch - I've heard Omron is highly recommended but which one is best? ....They have 3 options for Omron : 25g , 50g , 100g .... (I saw on another post that arcade machines use 50g Omron D2MV-01-1C3) I'm leaning toward 60g springs & 50g switches based on feedback I've seen so far. EDIT: Placed my order for delivery in July. Based on feedback/recommendations, I went with the 60g springs & Omron D2MV-01-1C3 50g switches.
  9. I copied the contents of this zip (KFC2021060802) to my existing SDVX VI folder. When I start the game, it still shows as up as KFC-2021051802. Is this normal? What was added in this update - any new songs?
  10. Is there a method to save scores / progress for the DMT rip yet?
  11. Anyone know if there is an OmniMix available out there for IIDX 28 Bistrover yet ?
  12. Does patching the dll to 120hz and running the game on 120hz display make it the same as playing on Lightning Model ?
  13. Quick question about Asphyxia Core -- anyone know which files it creates that stores your data (scores, profile, etc.) ? I know the regular (no plugins) Asphyxia just creates some *.json files to store your data but not sure about Asphyxia Core. I *think* it's the "savedata.db" file but wanted to check if someone can confirm.
  14. Thanks - turns out songs were there but I wasn't looking in the right place(s) to see them. On a different topic, can anyone comment on how well this plays on a touch screen monitor compared to the arcade experience? Any recommendations on a good-priced touch screen monitor for the game that's around the same size as the arcade touch screen (supposedly it's a 22" screen) ?
  15. How do you properly apply this to the original Technika 2 directory so the added songs show up? I tried just unpacking this pack as is to the existing T2 directory but still only just see the T2 songs in game & in DMT2-Tool. Anyone get the new T3 songs to show up? thanks in advance for any tips.
  16. Anyone know if an OmniMix exists for Rootage? I have CannonBallers+OmniMix working & have the Rootage upgrade data but I'm assuming the CannonBallers OmniMix wouldn't work for Rootage? EDIT: found this Chinese website (Google Translate works fine) with Beatmania IIDX 26 Rootage (LDJ-2019100700) and OmniMix. Website: https://www.ppxclub.com/702721-1-1 The site also has Beatmania IIDX 27 Heroic Verse and OmniMix : https://www.ppxclub.com/702665-1-1 However, the files are password protected & getting the password requires registration which requires an invite. Haven't been able to figure this out. If anyone knows other sources for these, would appreciated links.
  17. Thanks for the suggestions. I played this in the arcade a bit before they shut down the Eamuse service for it & thought it was pretty fun. Will download & give this a shot.
  18. Question for those who have this working - have you found a good way to set up controls for this game using standard controllers such as keyboard, mouse, gamepads, etc? Looking for some good setups if anyone has found some good methods.
  19. Thanks for the response but turns out the problem was I was using dedicated SoundBlaster sound card - I can get it working by using onboard audio instead. Had the same issue with SDVX V. I'm still having an issue getting Heroic Verse working with either Asphyxia or Asphyxia Core. I've tried both latest version of Asphyxia (0.2.0a ?) & Asphyxia Core w/ the plugin. Game just quits out if try to use either of them w/ the "-url" parameter in SpiceTools set correctly. I can get it to run with "-ea" flag in SpiceTools on but off course, I can't save score/progress that way. Anyone know what my issue might be with getting IIDX 27 working with Asphyxia or Asphyxia Core?
  20. Trying to get IIDX 27 Heroic Verse working but having trouble getting it to start. - Copied dev files from Cannon Ballers without overwriting. - have the IIDX_plugin-1.4.1 files copied into ../contents/plugins - using Asphyxia Core v1.20f - using SpiceTools release 2020-12-11 End of log file below - entire log file attached. Any help appreciated if anyone has an idea what my issue might be. 21. Is this dump of Heroic Verse decrypted ; anyone have a chance to try this particular one out yet? Also is saving (via Asphyxia or other means) possible for this one yet?
  22. Cool stuff. I was wondering how this version compares to the Dragon's Lair Trilogy released on PS4. Anyone have experience playing both versions for comparison ?
  23. I'm able to get Groove Coaster 2 up and running with TeknoParrot (with songs/avatars unlocked as well via edit of system.cfg file) but have a couple issues & wanted to find out if these problems were specific to running this with TeknoParrot or if others run into these issues as well: 1) Some songs do not have a preview & if I try to select and play them, the game just gets stuck forever at the loading screen. The songs with a preview all seem to work fine. 2) Saving doesn't seem to work - when I press F4 it says the card is "being used on another machine". I'm not sure if a way to save scores/progress for GC2 actually exists yet so wanted to see if anyone knew. Thanks in advance.
  24. I got Time Crisis 5 working with Gyro-aiming using a Playstation 4 DS4 controller using the DS4Windows app. I haven't spent too much time tweaking it yet but it seems to work fairly well from first impressions. I don't have a PS Move controller to mess with, but I've heard you can get those to work with DS4Windows too. I was thinking it would be possible to use a PS Move controller attached to a gun accessory as a fun alternative way to play this game if anyone wants to try this out. For my DS4Windows profile for Time Crisis 5: (X) button ---> Left Mouse Button (fire weapon) L2 trigger ----> T (left pedal) R2 trigger ----> Y (right pedal) L1 button ------> Shit+H (crosshair) R1 button -------> Shift+H (crosshair) D-pad UP -------> Mouse Wheel Up (change weapon) D-pad DOWN -------> Mouse Wheel Down (change weapon) Options button --------> Shift+T (insert coin) Gyro -------------> "Use as Mouse" option enabled I've attached this DS4Windows profile here for anyone who wants it - tweak the sensitivity & configuration to your preferences as I haven't messed with it too much beyond just testing that it works with the game. Time Crisis 5.xml
  25. If you're using Asphyxia to save scores/progress, you don't want to use that "-ea" flag. In spicecfg, you need to set the "url" parameter to: http://localhost:8083.
