  1. You're welcome! Glad it helped. I don't suppose you tried going through any of these steps, did you?
  2. My settings, tested on RB1 guitar (model 822151) and GH guitar (model 95893.805) Hey everyone, I joined this forum specifically because of GHA. I had a tough time sifting through the fragmented pages so I figured I'd post my own findings for getting the game to run with the aforementioned guitar controllers, in the hopes that it will help other passerby's. Files to download: Download Mohkers' dump for GH Arcade (pass = MOHKERZ) - This is the main game + patch_v4-crashfix + freeplay + UNLOCKALL x360ce - This download is bundled with my configuration for the two guitars. I'll go through the configuration manually in case mine doesn't work for you. 1. Extract GH Arcade to your preferred location and replace the files from the patch folder. 2. Right-click "GHA_LAUNCHER_v1_admin.exe". Select Properties -> Compatibility and check off: [✔] Disable full screen optimizations [✔] Run this program as an administrator Repeat this step for GHA.exe. 3. Open AspyrConfig.xml with Notepad and input your screen resolution. I have mine working at 2560 x 1440. 4. Back up "xinput1_3.dll", and copy the contents of the above x360ce download to the root game folder. Run x360ce.exe and plug in your guitar dongle. You can verify with the screenshots in step 6 that my settings have loaded and are triggered by the guitar controller. If everything checks out skip to step 7. If not, continue to step 5. 5. Configure x360ce If my settings didn't work for you then close x360ce, delete x360.ini and xinput1_3.dll and relaunch it. Hit create to make a new DLL. Plug in your dongle. A "New Device Detected" window will open. Hit next, and then finish. On the "General" (button config) screen, click "Auto" at the bottom and hit "yes" on the prompt. The Xbox controller should now be visible. 6. Click "Clear" at the bottom and input these settings: (Click for full size) General Left bumper = Orange Back = Select/Star Power Start = Start D-pad = DPad 1 (from drop down) Y Button = Yellow X Button = Blue B Button = Red A Button = Green Stick Axis X = Whammy (not shown in screenshot) Advanced Device Sub Type = Guitar/Alternate 7. You can now save and close x360ce and launch Guitar Hero Arcade! (GHA_LAUNCHER_v1_admin.exe). Blue opens the test menu, while Green + Blue + Orange act as the start button. To activate start instead of the test menu hold down both green and orange, then press blue. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A few notes regarding glitches: -Selecting multiplayer in the main (debug) menu causes the game to freeze -Backing out of audio calibration causes the game to crash -The start combination doesn't work when trying to select continue after a song -Sometimes mashing start after a song will bring me back to a glitched waiting screen, the animated sprites show in multiples -Guitar store in career mode freezes game -Letting the timer run out in career mode crashes the game -Whammy bar always partially held, even when not enabled (looks like an x360ce problem) Control scheme from Plumato's video Windows 10 Home Insider Preview 10.0.18362.1 i7-3770K RTX 2070 Super 16 GB DDR3
