Hi guys, As many of you know, I love on-rail light gun games like The House of the Dead, Time Crisis, Virtual Cop, Haunted Museum and the list goes on. Unfortunately where I live it is very hard to import light guns from overseas due to the "impersonation of firearms" laws and getting something like those Aimtrak guns through local retailers is rare as hens' teeth! So I have been resorting to pairing the Nintendo Wiimotes with MAME and playing them on my Wii games collection and it does it's job. Nothing like the real Namco Guncons etc but they are good enough but the Wii and MAME only had a handful of worthy gun games to play and I want to now try to pair the Wiimote with Sony Playstation 1, 2 and 3 emulators to access other great light gun game titles but am tried everything and they simply do not work. I have tried using Lilypad, Nuvee, Touchmote and using my Dolphin Infrared Bar and nothing seems to work. I can move the mouse cursor around but the click buttons don't register as mouse clicks so it won't work. My last hope is to ask for your help. If you have managed to pair this with anything besides the Dolphin emulator (Wii/game cube games) and MAME (classic arcade games) with the Dolphin Infrared Bar (stand alone accessory), please share with me and others how you got it to work with step-by-step instructions. This thread will get deleted no doubt, but for what it's worth...you shouldn't be connecting a PC to a TV in the first place as most TV's don't sync up right and their display output (won't get into the technical stuff here) are not high enough so in most cases it will be somewhat blurry. To change custom resolutions, you must go into your GPU's control panel and setup a new custom profile. Usually it should detect your TV as either by the name if it's a recognised brand or something like Generic HD TV or something like this...choose it and add a custom profile to it and apply the custom resolution. By the way, has anyone successfully gotten MAME to run Johnny Nero Action Hero yet? If so, can you please share which version of MAME you used, the romset and chd if needed. Many thanks!

This may be old news but if you have a good standard MAME romset and want to play online with others, you now can with Fightcade Online. Very easy to set up and free to play. https://www.fightcade.com/games/

The Tri-force board only had a handful of games - most of them are card, sports and racing games. Out of the 6-7, Mario Kart GP 1 & 2 + F-Zero are the best ones. The 2 virtua Striker games have never been emulated successfully as far as I know. Perhaps you could try and see how you go. What launcher did you use to launch the included games? I used Dolphin the Tri-force mod.

Does anyone still have the Virtua Striker 3 and 4 ISO's to share? Also, how to get F-Zero to work - it just loads and gets stuck at the title screen?

Hi all, I was wondering if anyone has been able to find a good way to emulate Sega Tri-force games (a joint project between Sega, Nintendo and Namco). Apparently the developers of Dolphin incorporated support for this back in the day when the emulator first started but it has since been abandoned. Yeah, it's a dump of the HDD image containing the game but then we must figure out how to decrypt it and attach a launcher to it. Moreover, looks like a multiplayer game without any offline bots so would be pretty useless anyway in my opinion.
