Hi guys, I'm trying to get Music Gun Gun 2 to run and managed to fix most of the errors but cannot launch the game and keep getting the attached error. I know some people are experiencing this too. Any ideas how to fix? Cheers!

Hey guys, I finally managed to get it fully working. I have to say some people have been very helpful whereas others simply assume we're all tech experts which we are not. Anyway, for those that are having issues uploaded below are my full working build of the game along with easy step-by-step instructions to get everything fully working. Hey guys, this is driving my nuts. I did everything noted in the first few pages and got up to the stage where I've mapped my keys to my Xbox 360 controller with Spicecfg but after lanching spice.exe the game starts with a blue circle and then the screen goes black and just vanishes back to Windows. Any ideas? I've tried running from an external USB HDD under L:/contents/ and also on my C drive etc to no avail. I'm on the latest updates for Windows 10 with a Nvida GTX 1080TI and 4K display resolution.

Hi guys, I have read through every post and currently to test the game out have it on an external USB HDD so something like L:/PC/aliens/ I got the launcher exe and the game exe file along with all the 4 dll's (see attachment), but every time I launch I'm still get the Cannot Load Shaders error and the game just refuses to load. I'm using the portable version so it's obviously not on my C drive and have installed the DivX6 package (running Windows10 with Nvidia 1080Ti GPU). Any ideas? Cheers

Is there any way besides dedicated one whole partition (drive) to this game as a Windows XP clone? Also, does anyone have a link to the game with all working ini, mouse control config and exe files?

Great game. Runs very well with latest version of TP although make sure you have the latest version of K-Lite_Codec_Pack_1484_Full installed.

I finally got it to work...here's what I did for those needing help. Edit the ini file as follows (no spaces between each line) - don't change resolution or it will crash: FULLSCREEN 1 ASPECT_X 16 ASPECT_Y 9 CNFNAME. \ Cfg \ shh RANKFILE. \ Cfg \ FORCE_RGB_MOVIE 1 SCREEN_WIDTH 1280 SCREEN_HEIGHT 768 RENDER_WIDTH 1280 RENDER_HEIGHT 768 ENABLE_VSYNC 1 FRAME_SKIP 0 FPS_DISP 1 REGION U RENDER_WIDTH3D 1280 RENDER_HEIGHT3D 768 Install the latest version of K-Lite_Codec_Pack_1484_Full (do not change associations just install the drivers) Then the game launches, press S to go to service mode here calibrate the guns then press 1 to accept and ESC to exit. Press S during game for COINS then begin by pressing 1 and then just mouse for the rest. If you have a Aimtrak or Wiimote gun - use software such as Winmote or Aimtrak settings to calibrate it as a mouse and off you go! IT CAN BE LAUNCHED FROM ANY DIRECTORY/SUB DIRECTORY AND RUN AS IS IN WINDOWS 10 (LATEST PATCHES AS OF MARCH 2019) NO NEED FOR WINDOWS XP/7.

Run as Admin and don't boot to fullscreen.

It wasn't easy but I finally got all the games to work on the TypeXtra loader and with its fix-launcher injector was able to launch all games. I have only played a handful of games but everything appears to work well. I suggest you guys try this launch and inject the fixes to the loader's files and it should work fine.

Try running in Full-Screen or changing your screen resolution to something a little smaller. Worked for me.

What loader are you using and are you using keyboard or game controller? If game controller, make sure you map the test key and press this then start to skip.

Try running with TypeXtra works well and you can map keys too.

Hi everyone, I managed to use TypeXtra to run almost all NesicaLive games but it doesn't work with TaitoTypeX games. The tricky part are romsets. There are so many out there that it's hard to know which one works perfectly with which emulator and which version. I prefer to have all the games loaded via one emulator instead of running them individually so any information would be great. Thanks!

Try running with Winkawaks or RetroArch?
