it moves, just extremely fast. Argon said it would take a ton of work to get the Aimtraks to work with the dome screen view and indicated that he was waiting for someone to create a working flat screen view. (Currently the gameplay has one that Ducan created but the cursor and other game elements do not so someone needs to spend a lot of time to fix it) my guess is we’ll be waiting for a very long time :-)

create a hot key script, compile it and set the exe to launch prior to opening your game it exe. (You do this within Launchbox in the edit game screen) The hot key script would be something like: esc:: Process, Close, Game.exe ExitApp

were you able to get player 2 to work? I’ve only been able to get player 1 working. The original keyboard mappings per Mohkerz never worked for me. I think he used a different keyboard standard then exists in the US so his hotkey script never worked for me

I’m in the same boat. I can use a regular mouse or my trackball just fine but when I try the Lightgun it’s so sensitive that I’m lucky if I can even see the cursor move on the screen. Anyone else have this and figure out a way to solve??

yes, in the game edit screen select the exe as the rom file, flip over to the emulator tab and uncheck use emulator.

Does this game have to be installed on the C: drive or can I follow the tutorial using a different HDD?

That’s correct, xinput only game that I want to use keyboard and mouse on. Specifically the left analog to mouse/trackball

Does anyone else have an issue after existing the game where the windows start menu doesn't open when clicked? In general Windows functions just fine but when I click on the start menu icon to shut the PC down it doesn't open. This only happens after playing Battle Pod I'm on Win 7 x64

@Ducon2016 Is it possible to map an XBOX Analog stick to mouse movement? I'm looking to use a trackball in place of the left analog stick on a 360 controller for a game if possible. As always, thank you!

Can you be more specific? I tried clicking the mouse buttons a few times and that didn’t work if that’s what you are referring to.

weird, yesterday ONLY xinput controls worked which was an issue for me since I use a keyboard encoder with my arcade cabinet. I’ve not updated or tried yet today but does directinput/keyboard work in the latest version?

@ducon2016 Is there a way to map the L/R Analog to an Ultimarc UltraStik Analog joystick? It’s a direct input device that I would like to remap analog from x360 controller to. If its supported what name/data to I type into the .ini file? If it’s not supported would there be any hope that you could add it? thank you!

How do I setup the card readers in spice? The game starts fine, I can hear a sound when I insert a coin but I can’t advance past the attract demo because it asks to scan my card. Thanks for your help!

That pre-configured google link gives me a 404 error. I followed your alternative method before reaching out: used the 2900 release. Copied your dump of the “contents” folder. Configured controls in Spicecfg.exe. Plugged in a headset with mic, and finally launched Spice.exe. Almost immediately a red box with the error pops up. i’m using Whatever version of spice was in your “contents” folder
