Anybody using latest spicetools on this game, i can't get it to work. keep getting IO error this is in the log [2022/04/12 21:44:16] W:libutils: 'G:\Roms\ARCADE PC\RF3DNEW\jgt.dll' couldn't be loaded: A dynamic link library (DLL) initialization routine failed. have tried various jgt.dll and all say the same error any help would be appreciated thanks

still working on it guys, had a pc reset recently which has been a setback but still have what i've done so far. will try to get more done soon 👍

Anybody have Road Fighters working with latest Spice Tools ? I get fatal error for IO it works only with old version here ?

great are you actually gonna add any of these things for everyone else to use ?

not yet dude, got side tracked with all sorts of other stuff but i'll put up what i've done so far, just in case i never get back to it, will do it at the weekend 👍 on second thoughts i'll try to get some more done on this got the bug when i had a go on it earlier Added a video of what I've done so far, got some changes to make to stuff i done ages ago so its still incomplete. anybody has soul reverse fully extracted i got base ok but all others are corrupt in osf, 7z and poweriso after initial extract is there an opt file or am i just doing it wrong ?

yes 1920x1080 here and aim is really poor if supposed to be aiming at on screen crosshair ?

to calibrate i moved icon over each symbol on screen then press start to get to correct icon then press trigger but even after calibration the aim is way off ?

it's ok i give up with it dude, its a no go, just to be clear the game works fine with jvs and no gameloader (gameloader only used for upscale), just doesn't play videos, i can press service after snk logo and game plays fine until defeat then it crashes before game over video the way joe555 describes above is the furthest i can get in TP, game starts but stops at snk logo no matter if i press service or coin. i only want the damn videos to play lol if the videos play i can play normal and continue after defeat.

still didn't work for me i really give up now lol are you starting it with game.exe or is this TP ? also the crc of both exe is the same ?

thank you Trymado i achieve the same with JC, for me it doesn't start in TP, all i want is the bloody videos to play :D

so you have only wined3d.dll and (wine)d3d9.dll in the exe folder, no other dll ?

you used all of the files and the klite codec pack ?

what .dll files you have in the folder, its still not working here

yeah i think thats probably more likely to be the problem Nvidia or AMD, i'd like to hear if anyone on AMD has the video working. @hippopippo i'm not a big fan of adding stuff to make 1 thing work, incase it breaks others but i'll give it a go. thanks

well that's the video playing for sure, i wouldn't think version 303 would be the only version it worked with but i have 303 around here somewhere i'm sure, i'll test it and see what we get, thanks for the video @joe555 when i play and lose 3 lives/battles/people, after the count down for continue, the game over (gover.sdf) video should play but it doesn't because the videos aren't playing for me so it crashes instead of going back to attract mode.

yep tried every setting in TP, GLaRH and JC but nothing makes the videos play, some people are saying the videos play but i'm not sure its the video files, could be the attract mode that plays with the reduced videos i would like to see a video of it loading
