Didn't installing "wmv9VCMsetup.exe" and/or setting the "game.exe" to Windows XP SP2 compatibility mode (as it's gonna be suggested within "readme.txt") do any good to you? Thank you, Manson976, for drawing my attention on that issue which I totally overlooked. So, to enjoy a true to the original gameplay experience, I guess it'll be better not following my 16:9 advice and hoping that someone steps out with a better solution instead...

Here's something for you people who have happily joint Taito's Parascience Investigation Team in the meantime, willing to successfully force the Gaia 4 Attack to turn back wherever its creepy origin came from - and with a wider field of view! In fact, if you want to blow away those fierced - and sometimes slimy - creatures off the screen in 16:9 picture format, simply add the few little lines written down below to your MINIGUN.INI. Depending on my setup, I used the resolution 1366x768px as a reference, so change it according to your own screen width and height: ASPECT_X 16 ASPECT_Y 9 SCREEN_WIDTH 1366 SCREEN_HEIGHT 768 RENDER_WIDTH 1366 RENDER_HEIGHT 768 RENDER_WIDTH3D 1366 RENDER_HEIGHT3D 768

Haha, touché, LEGEND80! Literally. :-) But in fact, I'm still deliberating if an AimTrak gun really makes sense for using it on a 15.6" 16:9 screen...

Another solution to make your mouse hiding problems being a thing of the past, is a smart combination of... 1) an appropriate program you'll find here: https://www.daanav.com/mouse-cursor-software-for-windows/ ...and 2) a "blank mouse cursor" file you then can embed into the above mentionend software: http://www.jholjhaal.com/hide-mouse-cursor-on-windows-with-mouse-pointer-scheme/ It's as much as a cursor can be hidden as an invisible shadow within your personal Windows OS. :-)

Oh my gosh, stupid me, haha! Thanks, LEGEND80, for reminding me of this option (by using Game Loader All RH) which I had completely forgotten about. And although I had hoped for a crosshair given the size and visuals like in Let's Go Island, the tiny one I can find now within Haunted Museum gets the job done so well enough to even increase the level of joy I personally have with that game as a player who still takes aim with his mouse and not an AimTrak device (but ogling with it).

So, there is a crosshair version out there for real? Must be a pretty new revision then, ain't it?

To my knowledge, when we're talking about Chase HQ2 from 2007, that's a thing of the impossibility. Therefore, it remains as wishful thinking to see not just Nancy, but all the other tempting stuff that game has to offer as well, in a higher resolution, until someone highly capable out there argues the converse. Can't tell you anything about Valve Limit R on the other hand, because I'm a sucker for good Arcade Racers only, haha. Or did I miss anything worthy that might come from this slip (-pery when wet)? Feel free to convince me of the contary! :-) I mean, Valve Limit R isn't exactly known for any erupting riotous cheers among the community, is it?

@aeliss It could be that some of your software which doesn't start from scratch on PC n°2 (after you have copied them over from PC n°1) are referring to game configuration details/files that can only be found on n°1; which would possibly be the reason why n°2 gives you an error here and there, depending on the respective game. For instance, there's a TAITO folder in my \Appdata\Roaming from where some Taito games partly read/write their information (like configuration or score rankings). A folder which was created after each first start of the particular Taito game. So, indeed, because you've just copied over your software (instead of setting up a fresh install process), the games could be looking for something on n°2 which doesn't exist there and consequently leave you behind with an error message. Of course, I'm aware of the fact that my assumption is just one among others within a sea full of different technical troubleshootings. Anyway, I'm glad that in the end it worked out well and you can go ahead with an undiminished Arcade joyment! :-)

As far as I'm concerned, I took my freshly downloaded Haunted Museum Zip file (Haunted Museum.zip) and unpacked it to the folder of my choice (which is C:\Games\Haunted Museum). Since then I'm always just one click away from being out with a gun whilst hunting the Haunted. Plus some virtual extra coins next to me on the sideboard, so to speak, because you never really know how many enjoyable efforts it could take me this time to pleasantly get rid of the game's fantastically designed cartoon-esque brood of darkness. So, aeliss, why don't you copy/paste me for a change (haha) by doing it like I did? Just make a brandnew start by unzipping the Zip file to a folder you prefer, launch game.exe and give 'em hell! :-) Anyhow, that's the way it works for me.

It is to be highly welcomed, hitachish4, that you and your friends (together with all the other providers and tech-tipsters to be found here at this cozy place as well) are so passionate about ensuring access to a gaming world that is charged with more adrenaline (Arcade in general), often gasoline (Arcade Racers), and sometimes even kerosene (Arcade Flight Sims) than your usual original PC or console based experience is able to recreate. I'd absolutely like to add my thanks to those that have been expressed already for this extraordinary treasure chest find straight from a Russian server which is filled with the majority of our beloved and well-known Arcade Dumps whose exclusiveness and brilliance are highly appreciated here and elsewhere. Due to its existence I am able now to make my long awaited way into, along and through the Haunted Museum, packed with infinite ammo for warding off an armada of ancient haunting creatures risen from the ashes of long forgotten times, which then again provides for a hell of a ride in best traditional crosshair shooting action nature. Talking about the crosshair, by the way, I'm pleasantly surprised how well the visual absence of it actually works in that dump by not taking away much of the overall fun.
