  1. Save this as a bat file and run it once in \contents: @echo off cd /d %~dp0 if not exist conf\nvram mkdir conf\nvram if not exist conf\nvram\ea3-config.xml copy prop\eamuse-config.xml conf\nvram\ea3-config.xml if not exist conf\nvram\coin.xml copy prop\coin.xml conf\nvram\coin.xml if not exist conf\nvram\eacoin.xml copy prop\eacoin.xml conf\nvram\eacoin.xml if not exist conf\nvram\testmode-v.xml copy prop\testmode-v.xml conf\nvram\testmode-v.xml if not exist conf\raw mkdir conf\raw @topet2k12001 please add this to your ddr.exe script, this is lifted directly from Bemanitools, and I notice this is always an issue with people using Spicetools because the nvram folders aren't setup.
  2. So you don't want to read, but you want someone to hold your dick and guide you step by step... got it. Nobody is gonna help you, especially since you only have two posts and have posted a total of three words: please, anyone, and no.
  3. I haven't tried U:G:A since Ace, but that makes sense... since J and K are the only dongles for A20 U region.
  4. Which is why I just maintain a set of ja & ua thumbs in my folder. Doesn't hurt to add a few megs.
  5. By reading this thread.
  6. By playing on the player 1 side instead of player 2. There's no way to remap this. Use something like JoyToKey to remap + and backspace to the buttons of your choosing.
  7. Konami would have hit the limit by now if they don’t fix it themselves, at least partially (I’ve been modifying Ace for nearly two years). My fix is very dirty but it works, when we get to the point that it’s needed, I may divulge how it works, but it’s not necessarily the kind of thing I can release without lots of complaints about it not working. Nobody is running that many songs yet, except me and a handful of others making their own versions. It’s hard enough troubleshooting people who come in this thread with running butterfly let alone a few hundred extra songs.
  8. I literally mean a hole in the bottom of my foot, and I should keep off it, instead I put pressure on it 400 times in a time frame of two minutes. It bleeds when I play and hasn’t healed yet. It’s not fun. The limit is hard to say, I’d say with the current gamemdx.dll we have, the limit is about 1100 (so about 200 extra songs) before it gets funky. You can add everything from X1-current and not have it crash. I’ve already blown past that limit. Without my fix, the game crashes after 3-10 seconds for my current build because of all the songs in my build. My fix should allow another few hundred with ease... but I always await a new build because the limit silently gets increased with each new release (especially with a new title like A20 Plus with a few dozen new songs all at the same time).
  9. That honor goes to Mythomane... lookin' like a daydream. /belownormal ran a little better, but I wonder how /normal would fare, it was still slow (a minute to login in some cases), but everything else works great. I am using javaw.exe as opposed to java.exe. 1200+ songs flawlessly load on the stock 1GB RAM this board has, with my fix. If you've seen performance of SD DDR in between songs, this is no worse than that. If I can get butterfly to be more responsive without the cost of stuttering mid-song, then this will be a flawless accomplishment. It's why I stopped using butterfly in the first place, and upgrading the board isn't entirely feasible, and I like the idea of self-containing everything. I also cannot reach my home internet from my garage, so local servers are the best option for me. Can't wait for the cooler months to come around so I can play in the garage again, it's still too hot... plus I still have a hole in the bottom of my foot. Don't judge the score.
  10. If anyone cares, changing event 34 from 9999 to 0 removes the 50th anniversary logo, as builds from 2020 no longer display that.
  11. Cab findings. @topet2k12001's butterfly fork runs great on a legit cab setup under a Konami XPe install... however (not his fault), current Java 8 doesn't work. Thankfully I have about fifteen copies of Ace from various tests on my drive, and copied over my working Java 8 from 2019, and that build runs fine with it. /low works, and helps, a little too much... the server is so slow in this fashion, but the game never stutters. /belownormal is a usable syntax and that may yield better results. https://www.computerhope.com/starthlp.htm My memory fix which I've dubbed ALPACORE, works flawlessly.
  12. Memory limits? Yes. Never Gonna Make? No. I don't have that song working as of yet. As for EuroMIX2, I got a set of the exclusives working.
  13. Luv To Me Disco Mix was a 2ndMIX Club song (appeared in Extreme, and SuperNOVA 1&2) Lovin' You appeared in DDRMAX/2/Extreme.
  14. Spicetools is for dick holding, and really weird obscure setups.
  15. Why wouldn't it work? (Other than the fact that I run it as so.) The server is just agnostic to any tools anyways. And no, they are not created by the same people.
  16. Good-bye my love, I love you too so. Before you went away, I didn't know. Memories awake, only in my dream. When I think I lost them, they all come back to me...
  17. I'll take a video of it booting, I still use the official scripts from Konami, but then I just sliently run my shit in the background to load, and then eventually bemanitools. (Spicetools is trash for a real cabinet, too much overhead, and never wants to use real IO.)
  18. Basically that, in command line form, yeah. With the addition of /low, which is to hopefully lower CPU usage... since the official board runs on a Celeron M 440.
  19. Also, by using start /low javaw -jar butterfly.jar, it should lower the CPU usage as well.
  20. It'll always run, it's not recommended on a standard computer, but on an actual cabinet where the scripts are ran to start everything, and then you simply turn flip the switch to turn it off, it's fine. If you do it on your computer, you have to manually shut down the Java platform binary from Task Manager. Again, not an issue with my setup.
  21. Figured out how to run butterfly silently for my cab, basically it involves calling javaw.exe rather than java.exe. I keep a portable copy of \bin and \lib from an installed copy for cab usage. Which by the way, the latest 32-bit Java 8 update works just fine @topet2k12001, it was a good reason to update it.
  22. @topet2k12001 will be making monthly updates to the A20 pack featuring songs from DDR X1 through DDR 2014. Stay tuned.
  23. I don't recall saying that in Korean, but okay.
  24. Incase you wanted to know if you could put in longer songs, yes you can.
