No need for the firewire card or removing memory. You need the ice stick with the right connector at the other end. A clean connector on the ES3 motherboard and a linux pc with the tools installed. And knowing what you need to do and how to do it to get it done. There is a well written page out there about the ES3 security, you can find it through google. Once you follow that page, you should be able to do it yourself.

The dump is fine, i have been able to extract the game files just fine.

if you unpack it, you lose the updates..... Just run it directly from the vhd.

Read deeper into the bat files. There is a reason written in there why he tells you NOT to unpack it.

Press 3 on the keyboard to add credits when you use start.bat. If you use TP, you need to assign a button for it in TP before starting the game.

You can always try windows compatibility modes to see if it will run by making some changes. Run for example as windows 8.

If you need help Dumping / backupping these drives, send me a message. Because you need certain software and hardware, if there is something you don't have, then it saves me hours of typing. Once i know what you have, i can guide you the right way. And these drives can't be just copied, you need to do a hotswap inside of the original pc. And there is another connector which needs to be taken loose after the boot up. Otherwise it will reset half way the backup process and you can start all over again. Backup will be around 90GB, so make sure you have the space available. When using usb3 connections, it takes about 30 minutes to make the backup.

Try moving it to the right to break, that might do the trick. I know that it sounds stupid, but since you can't assign the break separately, it messes that up. You can assign the break in jconfig and that one works fine.

Multiplayer only works in the update, also adds the 6th scene. And the updated one also make the flat look real flat....

You should be able to move up and down. I noticed that the controls are not going up and down as much as the arcade machine itself does. Something that needs to be looked into. I used an xbox one controller and still trying to find the best config for it.

Sorry to hear that it crashes, were you using a 1920x1080 screen?

Try pressing Shift+1 and see if it will stay flat. If not, then let me know. If you want to run 4K, press F11 twice.

Here is the xml file for free play enabled and no sound during attract mode. testmode.xml

It doesnt save to the xml file. If you know how and where to edit, you are able to make changes. I changed mine to freeplay and no attract sounds.
