Weird.... I had a working version ages ago as well, then I ended up updating spice tools and the game stopped working but once I installed the version that I posted the game works for me again. --Edit-- It's a long shot but try this jgt.dll file that I uploaded. Thanks for the 363 update. Now I can choose a 4:3 ratio and the game doesn't crash The only one small bug that I have now is if I choose a custom cursor it works well but every so often the left click doesn't register when shooting. I tested this with two different cursor files. If I use the default settings it plays fine. Not sure if maybe it's to do with the fact I'm running the game in 1440x1080 resolution or not, but it not a big deal. I can live with the default tiny crosshair. The game looks so much better in proper 4:3 ratio imo, I have no interest in going back to 16:9 now.

That resolution crashes gameloader for me and GeomMOD also crashes with various options tried. Yay.... Oh well, thanks for the help.

That's the first thing I did, but sadly it doesn't work on my end. It starts up somewhat fine taking up almost the entire screen keeping the 4:3 aspect but then the game just goes full 16:9 and it zooms in for whatever reason so two thirds of the screen are completely gone. I'll try that GeomMOD in a bit

Is there a way to run Friction in 4:3 aspect? I'm trying to run the game in 4:3 but am unable to do it. Ideally I'd like to try 1280x960, but I also tried other typical sizes such as 640x480 and 800x600 but I'm getting weird results with the screen getting cut off and sometimes gameloader crashing at the start.

No, once you configure jconfig and are happy with the settings, you can simply run the (game).exe next time.

Not sure, I don't have any interest in "adding" coins so freeplay is fine with me. I guess you can try all keys on your keyboard and hope for the best. Maybe there's a reason a coin button isn't mappable in jconfig.

Yes, if you're using a wheel you should definitely untick fake analog for turning left or right as well as the gas/brake. Although the gas/brake isn't that big of a deal in most cases and can be left as fake analog. But if you want the most precise controls than untick all fake analog options using a wheel. Try the Home key on your keyboard and use PageUp and PageDown to navigate the menu.

Download it and read the readme file that's provided. It tells you how to run it step-by-step. Also, if I remember correctly it even points to a youtube video on how to run it. The game is not all that great. You're not missing out on much if you can't get it to work

I'm not sure which is which anymore. I had the original untouched dump that was shared a while ago and then I added all the additional tweaks and fixes. But I think if you go back to page 1 of this thread you will see links to the "original" It might be worth a try. Your problem might be graphics related so who knows if grabbing the original will help.

Hmm.... did you apply the dome-fix? Maybe try running the original vanilla version.

Is the game crashing without any displayed error messages?

Thanks for the info. Yes, that's the site I used to grab the game. Game works pretty good with minor glitches (so far) I just don't get in-game music, oh well. I just tried Xenia for the first time and I still have to do some research as I don't know what I'm doing. I also tried NBA Jam On Fire Edition and I am unable to change teams at the team selection screen. The analog stick and d-pad simply don't respond. The game seems to play great otherwise. Once I changed the license_mask = -1 to 1 in xenia.config.toml the game will not let me create a save file (it fails) but now I can choose the teams/players just fine. I guess more research and experimenting is needed

Just tried Hydro Thunder Hurricane. There's no in-game music. Is that a known issue with Xenia?... or do I just have a crap version of the game with the music ripped out.

I did, the mouse is still noticably "faster" for whatever reason than running it without RH loader.

Running Lost Land Adventure via the latest 344 version makes my mouse very sensitive, anyone else experiencing this issue?

Did anyone try this game with their Aimtrak gun? The mouse is smooth and plays fine but as soon as I pick up the Aimtrak it's way too sensitive.
