  1. It looks like a pretty standard update with challenge charts and paid customization, I must be missing something. What is weird about it?
  2. It’s not a cab, it’s just a PC running the emulator with Born To Lead (B2L) pads hooked up to it. They’re arcade replica pads from iborntolead.com. Also the sync drift in the emulation is very apparent once you kick up the difficulty. I played for about 2 and a half hours today and genuinely had a blast but this is only good for players who aren’t looking to PFC most of their songs even if they normally could. I got one more PFC today and then spent a good chunk of time in Challenge mode since I generally care less about accuracy in courses. But for a large chunk of players the emulation is definitely good enough.
  3. Yeah, of course. I used FFE9 which is -23. It might be off by 1 or 2 for what you need but you can see it lined up well for me.
  4. I got SN2 synched really well. It's tedious, but it turns out reloading cheats after making a change doesn't work. You have to exit the game and reload it, which takes ages. But I managed a PFC on Your Rain even if it isn't the most difficult song out there without my preferred speed mod of choice so I think it's okay. I'm excited to play it. I just need to figure out why cheats aren't working on SN1 now. Thanks for taking the time to explain what the values are, btw. I really don't know anything about hexadecimal, this is my first time messing with that kind of thing.
  5. I just wish i understood what the “units” are that I’m adjusting. From 0000 to FFED is a change of -19 and I notice that change. But from -19 onward I don’t notice any change at all. And there is just flat out no change in SN1 it’s still like a full 1/4 note behind.
  6. What is the best way to get these games synced? I started with Darkfeline’s FFED on SuperNOVA 2 and that took me from wildly late to within the late Great window, but after that it felt like nothing I did would change anything. I swapped the converter to convert to hexadecimal and threw the wild value of FED4 (-300) at it just to see what it would do and there was no change. I’m reloading cheats every time I make a change and it gives me the pop up saying it reloaded but it’s not working. Also UAA SuperNOVA 1 doesn’t want to load cheats properly. It comes up saying it loaded 7 and loaded 14 in one dialogue box and none of them seem to do anything at all. I don’t have the debug menu option and the sync won’t change at all. Does anyone have any ideas there? While I’m here, the cheats won’t load automatically even though it’s set to. I have to reload cheats every time I launch the game. How can I get that to work properly?
  7. These updates are in the game files for a while before we get them in arcades. Is This Dance Hakken? is in the data we have for October 2024 and it wasn't unlockable until December 11. I think there is a very strong possibility that the leakers saw something in November that they didn't want certain subsets of this community spoiling for the larger playerbase like they did before.
  8. Oh please. It's far more likely that DDR World updates aren't leaking because we're in the middle of an event and the people who leak it don't want people uploading the unrevealed songs to YouTube like they did Hou. That's the kind of stuff that harms this scene.
  9. Small channels don't even get their attention. If Chris' "hypothetical" DDR X3 scores didn't catch their attention and get them to tighten security then I can assure you they don't even know I exist and I'm not even uploading DDR World footage to my youtube account. I think it says a lot about you that you're picking this fight with small channels and not going after people like Chris or Kon with larger channels where you might actually get some push back from their viewers. You don't have a cause you're fighting for, you're a coward looking to pick a fight with someone you think you can win against. Go up against a big channel if you want to change this aspect of the community. I dare you.
  10. What do you mean hopefully? You seem to be very against this.
  11. I have a question about Asphyxia. The Sanbai Ice Cream website lets people log into their Konami account if they pay for the basic course to get their scores. Would it be possible to set something up like that for Asphyxia? Obviously it can't write scores from home into the arcade, but I'm thinking more of a one time pull your scores from the official server into your home server kind of thing. I have a lot of scores at the arcade that would be really cool to import into my home database.
  12. That’s my understanding, I did my own for A20 Plus a while back and that’s how it was. If you did the hex edit to unlock all the songs then the removed licenses would show back up but with white jackets and no preview, and the game would crash if you picked one. I went through the older builds of A20 Plus to get the files for the removed songs and replaced the empty files and then they worked. The build for A3 I have with the licenses put back was posted earlier in this thread, someone else made it. I guess Reiwa was an oversight in restoring the licenses since the best I can tell all the others work just fine, but the big difference is unlocking all the songs in A3 didn’t put the empty licenses back like it did in A20 Plus.
  13. Reiwa was in early DDR A3 versions and was removed kinda early on. It’s the A3 version with the new A3 challenge chart that I’m trying to play, and it’s a build someone in this thread put together with all the removed licenses retained. I know the others like the 20th Anniversary songs work, Hillbilly Shoes, Only My Railgun, etc, just this one is giving me issues. The files I had in the first place should have all been from A3 to begin with. I can’t see why it wouldn’t be compatible like you’re saying, it has to be another reason.
  14. Unfortunately it's still crashing so I guess that's not the file I needed but I appreciate it. I'm not sure which file I need. I copied the video from A20 Plus and I know the video works there so the video file isn't why it's crashing. Maybe it's something in the startup.arc. I'll have to tinker with it and see if I can figure it out.
  15. Is it possible for someone here to hook me up with the song file for Reiwa with the Challenge charts for DDR A3? The version with all the licenses that was posted while back has it in the game and the preview works with music and the jacket but it crashes the game when I select the song. I think the file I need is reiw.ssq.
  16. Thank you. I'm installing VS Code now. You guys are super helpful, I really appreciate this community.
  17. I just realized my game still shows 2024080601 for the build date in the top left corner. It's just cosmetic since the rest of the game updated properly with World League and what not, but how would I go about changing it? I'm certain I've seen it mentioned in here before back during A20 Plus but there are a lot of pages to read through to try and find it.
  18. Yeah I have the latest one. That fixed it, thanks so much.
  19. So does anyone else have swapped ratings for Akatsuki and So What? I really don't know how to fix this.
  20. I'm not sure what happened but I have swapped ratings for Akatsuki and So What. Everything else looks right at a quick glance though. I'm not sure if it's a musicdb.xml issue or what, but yeah I see 11 Expert 13 Challenge on So What and 13 Expert 8 Challenge on Akatsuki. Edit: Also I'm having trouble with the webui for MonkeyBusiness for A20 Plus and A3. The webui page opens when I double click the index.html file, but it doesn't find any of the profiles. I have the webui folder in the root of the MB directory like the instructions say and I have the server running. I'm not sure what the issue is. Edit again: I'm leaving my dumb question there in case anyone else needs it, you open the webui from within the MB command prompt box that comes up, there is a link at the top. Then your profiles will all be there.
  21. Check a couple pages back, a full final A3 including all removed licenses from the Ace games was posted.
  22. https://remywiki.com/Money_Score “Sometimes, the score out of 1,000,000 that you achieve on a song in the DanceDanceRevolution series is also called by players "money score" in order to differentiate it from EX Score.” And the term has applied to DDR a lot longer than SN2 (the first game that scored out of 1,000,000). We were definitely saying it back in the Max-Extreme days to differentiate between score and grade since score was weighted so steps later in a song were worth more points and we knew the game had an invisible “dance points” score it used to calculate your grade (not the same as Oni scoring that went on to become EX score).
  23. Ghost data works I would say like 99% of the time on official machines. I’ve just had several instances of it not working right like I described. It’s existed for a while, you can see it on Dr.D’s Megalovania video from A3. At the end his pacer shows him at +999,970 which is his end score so it paced him as if the record was 0. This same bug exists in DDR World as well as no pacer appearing when you set a target score.
  24. As far as pacing/ghost data not working properly in Asphyxia, it doesn't work properly on an actual machine either. I've had several times where I had a score already and my pacer didn't show up, or where my pacer acted like it was pacing me to a zero score so I was plus by the amount of my money score at the end of the song. It's likely a game issue and not anything that can be fixed server side.
