  1. That spec laptop should run fine. I've run the game on worse H/W (8750H + 1050Ti) and it ran fine. First time launch is finicky though so maybe try to run it several times?
  2. IIRC for NFS GT you can run the game exec (you have to search for it yourself since I've forgotten where is it and I've deleted the game from the system) and change the resolution through the normal resolution menu, like the vanilla PC game. You can run Windows at any resolution and the game will run on the resolution specified in-game instead.
  3. Use VJoy + UCR for DirectInput support Use VJoy + UCR + ScpVbus for XInput support VJoy http://vjoystick.sourceforge.net/site/ UCR https://www.autohotkey.com/boards/viewtopic.php?t=12249 ScpVbus http://vjoystick.sourceforge.net/site/index.php/vxbox Those are controller emulators for keyboard
  4. May i know how all of you can run this game? I have the original SEGA_DAYTONA_UPDATE_171206.exe, tried all the steps outlined in first page, trying teknoparrot, and all failed with Network Discovery crash. Before you ask me to download the preconfigured version though, i'm currently limited by the data cap for the internet, and would've loved to try to work on the files i have.
  5. You can go to service menu by creating a shortcut to LGI.exe, then add -TestMode as the parameter in target. The issue is that the option to change region is simply not there https://imgur.com/a/nvcXEwi
  6. In LGI 3D, how do you change language/region to English/USA with jconfig being used? Trying config.ini edit as well as fwDataDB_AM.txt gives no changes and the game is still in Japanese

  8. i actually got the sound working now, but i got back to square one, with no 'mode' dropdown present but, 'profile' is now present, and still, only 'analog stereo output' until i realized that my laptop doesn't seem to support 5.1 output at all http://www.realtek.com.tw/products/productsView.aspx?Langid=1&PFid=27&Level=5&Conn=4&ProdID=166 well, it seems that i have to search for 5.1 usb audio card. thanks for the help.
  9. Well, this happened. I did just that, following this guide actually https://help.ubuntu.com/community/SurroundSound And i ended up breaking something or the other that now sound is not working at all and my output is just Dummy Output. [edit] i'm running 64 bit Ubuntu 16.04, but i installed the 32 libs as mentioned in another post. Just a heads up since it may help.
  10. I decided to give up on running Maxi 4 since my audio is now not working at all after (earnestly) trying to install/update audio drivers. I suppose I'll just wait for Maxi 5 instead, with Windows being much better OS, without any hassle of trying set up like 9 million libraries and still failing.
  11. It's not there at all, doesn't matter whether i use laptop speaker or other speakers
  12. There is no settings like you said Only Input, Output, Sound Effects, and Applications tab are available none of which will gave me the option to change to analog surround 5.1 output.
  13. I already installed both of the libraries But i don't get this part at all How do you do this? I checked the Ubuntu System Settings but there seems to be no way to change to 5.1 audio
  14. This caught my eye when trying to run the game Is this related to my audio setup, since i only have 2 speakers instead of 5.1 speakers? If so, how to fix it?
  15. The game simply shows up and disappear in a moment. Help is Appreciated.
