  1. Yeah that was the issue. Imo not worth it to switch over and lose out on keypad functionality for 2 average songs.

  3. Anyone able to modify this plugin so that the ingame "display timing" offset is saved and does not reset after each card swipe? Would be much appreciated.

"SSQ_OFFSET, chart offset, the larger the value the later the game is SOUND_OFFSET, sound offset value, the larger value/the later the sound is [ms] INPUT_OFFSET, input offset value, the larger the value/the sooner the game will perform judgement [ms] RENDER_OFFSET, drawing offset value, the larger the value/the later the arrow is visually. Used to compensate for latency. [ms] BOMB_FRAME_OFFSET, explosion animation offset, drawing delay and input delay [frame] " I think you should increase the SSQ Offset by units of 10 or 20 until you find your preference. Or you could try adjusting render offset but I didnt experiment with it. If you're playing at the arcade too maybe leave everything else as default.
  5. Might be better to ask the asphyxia discord but I would just make a copy of your game and fiddle around with that one. Custom plugins are not always compatible with the main plugins. Replace the plugin folder and see if it's compatible. patcher. turksigara. net for timing adjustments. It's trial and error but I think SSQ offset should be the first thing you change then go from there.
  6. navis_cs made a custom asphyxia plugin on page 47 that properly saves the highest score and rank which I've been using. The one thing is that you have to do is change the visual offset after each set since it does not save. I found Monkey Business to be difficult to setup properly and it may have still have one problem as described by DSync: "On a sidenote, MonkeyBusiness seems to only able to save the High Scores but not the ranks/progress itself. Not sure if this will be fixed later."
  7. IIRC the recommendation is to have the region be AGA or JGA in the ea3 config file for best performance. Game and note fps target should probably be 120 with forced fps target. Windowed mode is generally not recommended for compatibility reasons and probably causes more input lag.
  8. Rtx 4070. So I fiddled around with the settings and played a session. I think best settings for me were just letting the dll patcher handle the vsync with "force note fps" and leave spice and Nvidia control panel as default. I think part of it is just the nature of playing on data.
  9. What are the best settings to minimize screen tearing for 120fps valkyrie mode? I've tried fiddling around with Nvidia control panel and Spice but there's always some problems that appear like misaligned images/notes or red dots appearing. My Region is A:G:A Vsync: 3d application controlled = misaligned notes especially near the bottom when there are a lot of notes Vsync: On = Image more aligned but red dots appear on some notes.
  10. Everything works well, but is there any way to make it so that the display timing adjustment is saved after each session? It resets back to default for each card swipe.

  12. Anyone who uses brokenithm android? On the server exe the mode is automatically set to udp but I want to try using tcp to potentially reduce input lag. Anyone have any ideas or knows how to edit the exe file?
  13. Thanks for the fix Omar2 I just want to ask, is there way to adjust advanced settings like offset in this game? Also, sometimes loading can be very long and occasionally lead to this error before the song starts. : Could it be a hard drive issue? Im thinking of moving my files to an ssd to see if it fixes anything.
  14. log.txt I will tell you the steps I have done. 1. Download the latest beatmania file from nyaa. 2. The included asphyxia-core-win-x64 did not work so I downloaded latest one 1.40. 3. My laptop doesnt have 44100hz available so I download asio and put it as my audio backend in spicecfg. 4. I generate a player 1 card and put it in "Player 1 Card" in the option settings. 5. On my initial run of beatmania I used the included spice64 which caused a camera error which I then changed in options menu to disable and game is now able to be run. 6. I get the error as I have shown before above with any location I choose an error shows up. 7. The nyaa file did not include a .bat file only spice64 application. 8. I read that you can use a runme.bat from page 19 and use that. 9. I edit the rnume.bat file to include my card number without the -ea. 10. I run rnume.bat file and I still get the same error.
  15. I don't have real card I'm trying to make a virtual one. One thing is I'm not sure if my settings are right. I downloaded the latest nyaa file and try to setup looking at this thread.
