For those who are using a front end with their games - how are you guys getting back to the front end? Specifically Spicetools and DDR, I might be overlooking it, yet not seeing a way to map an exit key in spicecfg.exe.

From what I understand - this was cracked and uploaded to https://bemaniso.ws/ and https://onlyone.cab/. And since these sites tend to frown on anyone publicly releasing the arcade data, you might get lucky with someone uploading it in a way that it doesn't come back to them - either through a 3rd party or an anonymous alt account.... 🤷‍♂️

Where did you get the data for that new link? Used the same original link and seems I was missing data....Did it work for you?

The same reason people want Madden 2022, when Madden 2021 just came out last year. Why not have the latest and greatest - if there wasn't market then there wouldn't be a different Call of Duty every 6 months. I mean you're correct about the default Stepmania timing... but most themes these days actually change the timing windows anyways to be tighter, like Simply Love (set to In The Groove timing) or the DDR themes (which set the windows to... you get the picture). I mean you're technically correct, but most people don't use the default theme all that much anymore Edit: After double checking some of this, your 2nd to last sentence is incorrect. In The Groove was originally based on Stepmania, and when Konami bought them out, everyone changed their timing windows anyways. And the Fantastic window for In The Groove is 23 ms, not 32.

For anyone still following this thread, grabbing MDX-2021080400 file on Nyaa, and overriding the bat file in the torrent with the .bat file I quoted (so it can go in offline mode) and making you sure you transfer spice.exe from a spice downloads(since it errors out since only spice64.exe is only in that torrent) - yields you a workable A20 Plus. Kudos to the people who didn't edit their posts.

So, is this the actual arcade port/version, or is it just Stepmania with an In the Groove Front end?
