  1. PROGRESSSSS!!!!! Thanks to Brian218! Tag2 Unlimited now boots perfectly well and the demo gameplay is amazing! We are getting closer bros!
  2. With the current dumps, you can’t change the difficulty however, there’s a version where you can change it but I don’t have access to it unfortunately.
  3. Some interesting news, my friend Backyard Posse has discovered that Tekken Tag 2 Prologue also experiences the same white screen issue as the arcade version when loading on RPCS3 but eventually it loads up, but very slow. Hmm

  4. Bitlocker being tripped could mean anything like a broken graphics card, hardware changes, or a broken HDD.
  5. True, the H0XX ( the Namco USB JVS interface controller pcb) still needs to be virtualized and also need the JVS fork on top of that. The games will boot with the USIO that Taiko uses but no controls will work as it’s a different interface. Taiko still has some issues in RPCS3 such as a watchdog timer, and the game locking up if the watchdog log isn’t cleared, but so far that remains to be the only “playable” 357 game for now. Now, I can’t take credit for this amazing work! Brian218 is the one who has helped me and troubleshoot everything in RPCS3. I haven’t checked Tekken 6.0 yet but I’ll see what happens and if controls work with the H050 connected. Normally, if you have no USIO/H0XX connected to the emulator, you’ll end up seeing this screen:edit: the watchdog timer stuff has been fixed so that’s no longer a problem. Thanks to Brian218 and Elad!
  6. Really? The Namco system 357 revision A-C and the 369 arcade hardware is based on the PlayStation 3 console. The PlayStation 3 emulator (RPCS3) is the perfect emulator to use and seems to emulate some of those arcade games, it’s just a matter of emulating the I/Os (in this case the Namco H0XX PCB for the JVS games) which is what we’re looking at doing at the moment. Tag 2 did boot into the intro using a modified version of the 357C USIO which was rather interesting, however. With the 357C H050, I only get a white screen. And of course, all of you guys can use the normal RPCS3 emulator to play the games once all this stuff finally works.
  7. They should be in the MEGA folder but you can do it manually although it’s a pain in the ass lol
  8. New awesome discovery bros! The 357 XMB has been hacked, thanks to the true mastermind of this project, Brian218!
  9. Not sure if this is some useful information but some 2X6 games have native pad support: Tekken 5/5.1 Tekken 5 Dark Resurrection Soul Calibur II Soul Calibur III Arcade Edition Kinnikuman: Muscle Grand Prix Kinnikuman: Muscle Grand Prix 2 Bloody Roar 3 this is all I could remember off the top of my head but I’m pretty sure there’s some more. I also got a few 2X6 games that haven’t been dump yet like the English version of Wangan Midnight and the Theater version of Time Crisis 3. I know someone who can dump them and I’ll share those files here as well.
  10. If anyone has any suggestions or dumped 357 games, please let me know. We would like to get 357 emulation running soon so you guys can enjoy the games

  11. I got a few games in my own personal collection that I’ve been meaning to dump for a while now, however it’s the dumping process which is most difficult and frustrating, especially if the game is rare. I’ll look for some ways. Another pain would also be patching stuff like dongle/HDD protection and system checks.
  12. True! Time Crisis 4 is a Super 256 game however but if I can find a dumped version of Razing Storm, we can try to get it to work. Currently working on getting Tekken 6.0 and Tekken 6 BR to boot although it’s a bit troublesome at the moment

  13. [Emu W.I.P] Namco System 357 emulation working on RPCS3 Hi peeps! This is currently something a group of friends and I have been working on for the past month or so. We wanted to see if any other 357/369 games were bootable on the RPCS3 emulator as the only other game that “works” is Taiko No Tatsujin Version Green. well, here’s Tekken Tag Tournament 2 booting. A lot more work needs to be done but 357 emulation maybe possible. Big thanks to the friends who worked on making this project possible: Brian218 and Backyard Posse!
  14. That’s awesome! Does conquest mode work or it still hasn’t been implemented yet? Soul Calibur 2 is the ONLY game that used a secondary memory card for data saves and conquest mode
  15. You’re absolutely right! It’s a shame they’re still not properly emulated. That’s one reason I mainly got into arcade collecting.
  16. Somebody quote me if I’m wrong but I believe the light gun games used analog inputs instead of digital, similar to the PlayStation 2 ports/GunCon 2, however Vampire Night isn’t a light gun game on the 246 but rather a CCD Camera game, the same tech used in Crisis Zone arcade version. Time Crisis 3 also supports this Gun tech, how do I know? I have them and have made some gameplay of the games using this tech. Time Crisis 4 and Cobra used the same gun technology as the later Sega gun games, like HOTD 2-present. Time Crisis 3 Namco System 246 CCD camera version (No white flashes) HD 60FPS Vampire Night real arcade full gameplay Namco System 246 Arcade Hardware HD 60 FPS SEGA Testing my custom IR gun, Vampire Night arcade Namco System 246 Time Crisis 4 real arcade setup pcb hardware working in action! At home!
  17. Still working on it, give me a bit more time as life got in the way! Don’t worry bros, I got you all! 😉😎
  18. Hello everyone, I just wanted to ask a question regarding RRV. I actually own the real hardware/game but could never get it to boot past motor error 20. Now seeing it boot on the emulator makes me very happy and I want to know if anything was patched to make it work. This could definitely help out owners with the real hardware and fix broken systems
  19. No, as the dongle tech is different from the PlayStation 2 memory cards and stuff. Since I do own the original arcade hardware myself, the hardware has differences like different BIOS and possibly a different SYSCON. Also they system has more RAM than a standard PS2. if only there was a way to load home brew to the 2X6, that would be hella cool!
  20. Yep, video captured from the arcade hardware I own but I will definitely decrypt the drive and share the files, you guys can do the patches for the game to run on Jconfig or Teknoparrot as that’s way too advanced for me
  21. Wanted to share this video that I made recently, trying my best to share and decrypt my HDD https://youtu.be/FinkR1RLJj4
  22. I thought I said that the HDD is bitlocker encrypted. I can’t view the contents and there’s a chance I’ll end up destroying something. I’ll just wait till I get the tools I need. Again, be patient! It will take a while especially since I’m new to all this stuff. Also, the game is a VHD, I’ll see what I can do. Edit: I’m not trying to be rude/mean, I just need you guys to be patient as this is my first time doing something like this. I also want to preserve my hardware and would also like to share the files with you peeps. I will be sharing ver.4.20, however, I won’t be sharing ver.4.10. Again, just be a bit patient.
  23. It’s all original, same thing with my 4.20 unit. Even if I plug the drive into a PC, it will show 9 partitions (technically 10 as one of them is for the system reserve) that are bit-locker password protected. Just be patient!
  24. I genuinely wonder what arcade hardware it will use? Possibly PS5? Or a more powerful PC? I guess we’ll have to wait and see
  25. Yep, the game still remains the same unfortunately.
