  1. Hi everyone, long time, no see. Today I want to talk about our last update and our involvement in the project. As you may have already seen, we have already been merging our arcade fork code to the main build for you guys to enjoy without having to use separate builds. For right now, only the fighting and Taiko games build has been added as also merging the gun build code will actually break compatibility and inputs. We haven’t had much time together to continue forward so our involvement in the project will no longer continue and we expect others to improve the games compatibility and support. Only games missing to be fully playable are the Tekken 6 games, Gundam series, DeadStorm Pirates, and Razing Storm. You will still need to use the separate gun game build for now to play the rail shooting games with DEMULshooter 2 player hooks. Any other gun game revisions are yet to be discussed about
We did have a members only discord which got shutdown today and for those who supported the project from the beginning, we say thank you for everything. Thank you for any game hacks, guides and external software and we also expect and encourage you guys to continue the project. The Patreon page should have been taken down once we went public but for new people who joined or renewed their subscription, please ask for a refund from Patreon to avoid any further trouble and confusion. As for the final update, it’s PairPlay mode support for Tekken Tag 2 meaning you can do 2v2 fights against your friends and/or family. Dual I/O support has been implemented so instead of one I/O, you now see two. This is a pretty big achievement and this will be coming to the main build possibly in the coming week or two, we’re doing our final tests to see if it runs smoothly and well. As always, we appreciate all your support and patience and we will see you around. RPCS3 369 TEKKEN TAG 2 PAIRPLAY TEST Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Pair-Play
  2. Both builds are in the same zip
  3. Hello everyone, Time for a final update towards the project and what’s next going forward. First of all, thanks to everyone for their patience and understanding for the delays on the project. We had a set date of late February 2023 - March 2023 but had some slight issues to deal with. With all of that resolved, we provide to you a link with both forks for you to use for free and our patreon link to support any future developments to make the emulation better and to get more tools/equipment to implement more features. * YOU DO NOT HAVE TO DONATE* later updated builds will be released to the public when ready and tested. Also, please do not forget to donate to the official RPCS3 patreon for their amazing work, without the amazing PS3 emulator, you wouldn’t have seen perfect NAMCO SYSTEM 357 emulation. As for other stuff like server support for Banapassport games, those will have to wait due to how hard and expensive the process will be, so no DBZ online for now. Currently as you can see, we have two forks, one for the Taiko/fighting games, and the other for the gun games only. We will have a compatibility post as well soon. We won’t provide any game dumps due to obvious legal reasons. Any helpful setup information for the community or game mods can be posted here. Once again, thank you guys for your support we hope you appreciate the project. 4. Currently there’s no 5.XX patch for the arcades, it’s currently only on 4.20, which I have now dumped (TR215)
  5. Aight, dumped all my ES3s now, all versions I got have been successfully decrypted (FR 2.03 - R2 4.20)👀 *~~U know the rules, and so do I~~* đŸŽ¶ -Rick Astley đŸŽ™ïž
  6. I know I should probably make a new thread about this but I think it will also fit here, so, this is my version of the Tekken 7 multi for ES3 systems. Features down below: New updates: This is definitely one piece of software I’m very happy to have worked on and more updates will follow, if I do end up dumping my remaining drives

  7. For the last time, mine is actually different from the version you’ll find online, however, since I know a bit on how Namco structures their arcade games and stuff, I was able to reimplement the Banapassport icons and stuff to the version I got. But yeah, mine is slightly different from yours. just wait a bit longer for more details and on what we will do, we are almost ready

  8. Keep in mind the version of Tag 2 we are using for demonstration purposes is NOT the exact version you guys got, however, we did get a similar version working

  9. Hey guys, it’s me again, but this time I come to ask for help again. I still would absolutely love to dump and share my 4.20 and my recently received FR version 20.03 however, I still don’t have a clue where to start. I’m not asking for anything other than some help dumping them for you guys to have and enjoy. With the new Emuline now established, new stuff shall come this year and I would still love to contribute. So, what do you guys say? In other words, I need help delivering the goods and you guys do your magic!
  10. Oh yes! We totally understand, sorry about that 👍
  11. Intro to Sailor Zombie arcade, the others have also been posted to this YouTube channel, go check them out!
  12. Hi! We are currently working on that, without spoiling to much *Wink, Wink*, the games do work and are playable, however, not with the mouse or keyboard, yet

  13. Confirmed “working” games are: Taiko no Tatsujin: Fully Playable Dragon Ball Zenkai Battle: Fully Playable Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Unlimited: Fully Playable! Razing Storm: Bootable (playing the intro videos and shootout demo) Deadstorm Pirates Special Edition: Bootable (playing the intro videos and shootout demo) Dark Escape 4D: Bootable (playing the intro videos and demo) AK48 Sailor Zombie Arcade Edition: Bootable (playing the intro videos and demo)
  14. So far, here’s the working games list we have compiled. These are the games that will boot on RPCS3. Brian218 did send over his work to the RPCS3 team, so now the public build should support native 357 emulation. Confirmed games are: Taiko no Tatsujin: Fully Playable Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Unlimited: Bootable (playing the intro videos and fighting demo) Dragon Ball Zenkai Battle: Fully Playable Razing Storm: Bootable (playing the intro videos)
  15. New progress yet once again! We finally got Razing Storm to boot! Thanks to Brian218!
  16. Hi all, I’ve been doing some research/experimenting with the game dumps and found some very interesting things. Before I share what I have found, please don’t ask me anything about Tekken 7 R2 4.XX, the time will come when I finish doing some more work on that version of the game. I will be talking about Tekken 7 vanilla as it’s the game dump I’ve been experimenting with the most, and some stuff about a Windows 10 version of my own multi, but I won’t go into specifics about that as I might make a thread about it. anyway, you all have seen that it was indeed possible to change the region and language of the games easily with a few edits in the game files, well I’ve discovered some interesting stuff lately. I did mention that I have access to a dump of the full ES3 Windows Embedded Standard 7 software and I’ve been using some of its scripts to make a custom modified version of Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC IOT image for the game. Well, the games and the scripts, with some heavy editing, work just like the ES3 image, which is pretty cool! The scripts now function and all the programs like the AMUpdater open and function, this is what I used for my custom multi for real hardware and the games play super well! Here’s a pic of the AMUpdater working on Windows 10 below, I’ve changed the background color to black for my own purposes but the blue background can be put back. I’ve also somehow got this version of Vanilla to finally work, it’s the version with all the characters and now all sections are selectable I will need some help by trying to patch out the error codes as if I try to boot the game in any other region other than Japanese, the game will throw up a “21-4 First Check Error”. I’ve learned that by suppressing the errors, you can boot it in any region, looks like the problem is that the ALL.NET files are region locked or something which is preventing me from booting in any other regions other than Japan. Hopefully you guys can help me to get this version playable for the community. EDIT: JAN 24,2021, nvm, I finally figured it all out

  17. This is awesome! Even though it’s not the original super 256 version but tbh they have no real differences at all. Great work to you guys! 😁
  18. Video progress of the game finally playable! Thanks again to Brian218
  19. New progress! We finally got DBZ to be fully playable using our patched digital I/O interface! Brian218 has definitely been working hard on this and has achieved it! Hopefully he can record some gameplay footage soon to post it here!
  20. Ok, no worries bro, I wish I could help dump it but I don’t have one of those machines with the software in my possession.
  21. Yo! Is it a 357 game or BNA1? If it’s a not a 357 game, ask somewhere else as this thread is for 357 emulation.
  22. Yep, the C partition would be completely protected using the Enhanced write filter while the other partitions would be set to dirty using FSUTIL.
  23. Yeah, I’ve been messing around with the files and figured out how to change the region and set the games to true offline, sometimes the test menu changes around and adds/removes some stuff. I still haven’t figured out how to add the difficulty selector but I feel like I’m getting close. On the original arcade OS, the perforce data would be stored in two different partitions :Data 0 and Data1. Kinda interesting that in normal windows 7 and 10 the data would get stored in the C partition. As for other stuff, I also changed around some optimization settings as each game behaves differently, especially Tekken 7 vanilla.
  24. @zetsurinis a very awesome bro and his multi has definitely been a huge blessing for me, I have also made a modified version of his multi using Windows 10 Enterprise IOT LTSC 2021 just as an experiment. I’ve also written a post on my findings messing around with the Namco System ES3 here:https://www.arcade-projects.com/threads/namco-system-es3-teardown-and-some-basic-info.22930/ I’ve also been messing around the games files and have discovered a few cool things and have access to a decrypted ES3 OS image and also been playing around with it. @zetsurin I would absolutely love to continue working on this multi project if you don’t mind
  25. If you have the time, please do as I would also like to also play the game on real hardware as for emulation, even the current dumps for T6 are kinda hard to get up and running. We are trying our best though to get them to work on RPCS3.
